Ugh! I hate this weather. Just walked Shadow to the Hoe and back. I was sticky and hot and sweaty. And I did contemplate wearing jeans today!!
Much better now after a cool shower.
Bbq last night was scrummy, I ate so much that I've only just started feeling hungry now!! God knows what the scales will say tomorrow!

STS for me this week, should have posted earlier but have been busy. Spent yesterday helping a friend and her kids move house in 27 degree heat!! She ordered in pizza and I was very restrained had 3 pieces and 2 chicken wings.
Today was a day of good intentions my friend from Rosemary Conley class came over and we agreed we would have a healthy meal, we did but had double the amount of healthy lemon and lime quark cheesecake that we should have done. Back to house moves tomorrow so hopefully will work some of this off.!!

Hey seren - haven't heard form you for ages. Are you ok. Are you just lurkin?
Hey BB,
Just Lurking as usual. Started summat different this week...going to try and approximate the GL diet. Its worked really well for my dad (he's a lot stricter than me though). Just need to shift a headache from the weekend so I cna make sense of the book I bought.
Bit gutted at the minute as just back from cardiff and the hen do I'd spent months planning for my friend...dressed up as a welsh dragon got to the restaurant and felt really really ill...couldn't eat anything (which is mega unusual for me) so my sis took me back to the hotel and I missed out...never been so disappointed! Have had to re-apply for my job which sucks. If I get it though I'm sorted until next july (uni's mainly employ on short term contracts)
but my holiday starts at the end of the week so I just ahve to crawl through this one.

Off to visit the European City of Culture 2008 for a few days so I'll record a STS a few days early please.
Should have a been a little loss as the holidays and therefore the renewed enthusiasm should have kicked in. But conjunctivitis, earache, tonsils and general run down exhausted stuff like that have also kicked in. No doubt will recover my get up and go in a day or two. At the moment it's got up and gone. Still, have spent a couple of days in almost empty school and my desk is clear of all the cr&p that had built up.. :j :j :j Now I can start doing some of the work that was left to do in the holiday.0 -

Afternoon All
Only time for a quick one, in a meeting all day and after the joys of the course last week and fitting a French door on saturday, combine that with the lovely, but humid heat, and I am shot!
Anyways I nearly died when I got around to weighing myself on Friday, I had gained 5.4lb!! I was suspecting a gain, as there was biscuits calling out my name while on the course and even though I was making it to the gym every day, I feared the worse!! Well the odd thing was the according to my body fat measuring scales, my body fat dropped in spite of the gain. I dont have the numbers to hand as in the meeting, but it claims that the entire 5.4lb gain is musclePersonally I would be happy if the body fat stayed the same, so we will see what happens this Friday. So all in all not a disaster.
