Lose Weight 22

fitorbust, in my experience Tanita scales are 8 - 10% more than the 'true' figure (although getting a true figure is really hard/expensive). I say they're best used as a starting guideline from which to watch the number decrease rather than an accurate figure. Dont forget that it's a percentage so if your weight goes down but the BF% stays the same or increases, your BF is still reducing (lots of people forget this).
Demondoctor, please don't be disappointed, 2lbs is a very good result! The slower weight comes off the more likely it'll stay off.
KPC, take some time to chill for a few minutes today, you don't want to get ill x
Good luck for everyone weighing in today and have a nice hol Vic, don't let your mum spoil it for all of you xThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi All
Well done to all who have lost or sts
This week i'd like to report a 1lb loss i'm not disappointed as i thought i would be as i am turning everything into positives so if i hadnt be losing weight i'd have gained 3/4lbs so in a way sticking to my heathly eating kinda means i've lost 4/5lbs :j :j :j well thats how i'm gonna look at it .
good luck to those yet to weigh in.

Not been focusing on my eating correctly at all these days. It's an STS for me this week.
Time to re-focus!

Some good results coming in peeps. I think loads are on hols at the mo.. Lois that sounds a very positive step:T . I've taken your name out of tonights chart but it'll be back next week. Good to hear from you PLG, however briefly. Hope all is going well for you.
Laine - It might be slower than you like but is all adds up. Stick with it and us:T . Demon Dr - you have still lost practically a stone. Now is the time to determine not to be discouraged, even if you think your efforts deserved better this week. Lb by lb you'll get there.
Bit stressed this afternon - repeat presciption for essential meds has just been refused due to some admin error. Trying to sort it out but got to wait for phone call:eek: . On the plus sign, no instant bad after effects on the cycling yesterday. And really enjoyed my mosaic class this morning. Looking for ways to get a bit of extra dosh to sign up to continue I think in September.
Bails pasta sauce for dinner tonight, yum yum yum.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB: That is so fab that you got on a bike again!! How did you manage to cycle between all those tourists!!
KPC: I think the glacier mint eating competition would be far less stressful! Wish you all the best!
LL: How exciting! I would love to join something but to be honest i dunno if it would work. My weekly weigh in here hasnt worked but according to the wii fit my weight is slowing going south, not big jumps of weight but slowly going south so i reckon i must be doing something right! Even if it is a bit in accurate, a general weight picture should be reliable enough.
Demondoctor: Expect nothing and every loss will be fab. I know there have been times when ive tried hard and i havent lost anything, it can bring the old motivation down but chin up!!
Missy: Sound F-U-N!! i love a good storm, especially abroad. Makes it really exciting. Have a fab time and ignore those morons in the gym!!
Guess what folks? Ive started my dissertation today!! Had a good sort through, felt a pang of excitement but im sure that will fade. Im glad i have one foot on the ladder to completion!
Matt and i had an arguement about spagetti carbonara today. I was going to cook him a lunch meal and get the ingrediants but he moaned he might not like it and so i flipped. I think its hormal cos normally a spagetti carbonara doesnt bring that kind of agression out but i tore up the recipe and everything! Poor man went to asda and bought meatballs and got me some lillies!! Hopefully not symbolic to our relationship but lillies have never been asociated with death in my eyes!
have fun in the heat, im getting a tanned arm cos only one is in the sun at the mo!0 -

If I can crack my addiction to the habit of eating cake and biccies then I think this could be a winner (still haven't completely mastered it but I am thinking about what I'm eating-ish)....at least I'm recognising I don't really want the biscuit,....just got to stop the hand reaching the mouth!0 -
