Hey peeps just popping in to say hi :D I've tried to read the last few pages but nothing's really sinking in, I've been driving for hours today! We were supposed to be camping tonight but a big storm has given us a change of plan ;)

    Hope everyone is doing OK!

Ooh missy, where are you? We had a massive storm here last night.

Was in France yesterday, big storm there in the evening - and drove up thru Belgium & Holland and I'm now in northern Germany... another storm hit at about 5pm today, just before we were about to look for a campsite!!! So we've driven on and got a little hotel :) Basic but lovely :) Only trouble is it's next door to a gym with floor to ceiling windows and I can see them all working out... torture!!! Oh, and we seem to be next door to an airport so at least I won't need to set the morning alarm!!! :D

Having a fab time! Am I allowed to say I've bought lots of sweets to bring home? ;)

Glad you're having fun Missy, sounds like an adventure!
Sorry to hear you've been proper poorly Poohbear, good to see you back.
Great news about the bike BB and very bizarre as I literally just said to OH that I was going to try my bike out!!
Feeling enthused by Serendis's GL plan; I've noticed that I've gradually been slipping, being caught out and about without snacks and reaching for sugary pickmeups til I can get home etc. So I've got my GL book back out and refreshing myself of all the principles. I'm seeing a nutritionist next month so this'll tie in nicely with what she'll want me to do I expect.

Ooh, spooky bailstwilightzone.gif! We both have come back realising to our suprise that the hardest 'strain' seems to be on our arms. I was also thinking covetously of the superdooper saddles we saw in Halfords earlier:o These forums are so brill when we get reminded or re-enthused about stuff through others. :T
Sounds great missy, and yes sweets from abroad don't count:D .
Does anyone else fine the Gordon Ramsey opening sequence of the F word a shivering OMG moment?:D

    hi all,

just popping in while my cake is cooking I am going to RC class tomorrow(even though I could be pigging out because it's my b'day) so thought I would take them a fat free weetabix cake to try . I am also going to sorely dissapoint many people at work on Thursday as I'm not doing my usual baking stint (last year it was 9 loaf cakes!!) but have decided instead to take a trip to the market and have loads of fresh fruit and nuts etc for them to tuck into. Unsure how this week is going to go weightloss wise as have had a few bad meals but have also done extra "workouts" with all the house removals in sweltering heat.
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j

awwww, thanks all, next stage will be next week or the week after, I'll have a case study to work on. Also due into haribo by the end of the week too . . . . things are looking up! Right off to clean the lounge and the kitchen - got my first dd party tomorrow night so need to be sorted. Although have realised i'd better look into the hygiene side of things before offering them to other people . . . .

I hate the heat too, I've had such bad sleep the last 2 nights. And tonight I've had none at all.
