Pinklipgloss: You'll have to change your location now!
Ive always fancied a scottish wedding. Im not pushing you or anything but i got a dress from warehouse that fitted without even trying the thing on (which is always dodgy with my boob to hip ratio!)
Im really feeling some benefits from this wii fit. I keep doing hula hooping and my tummy feels alot tighter in the past week ive been doing it. I really wanna have a good hour session on it doing some more of the yoga and muscle exercises but time is short for the tv!
Oh and some more good news, the area i live in is getting a new pool, only 20metres long or something but it wont have lots of kids in and other random folk. Might be worth checking out. I really fancing swimming today actually! I dunno why im feeling the need to exercise at the mo but im liking it. Going out for walks and stuff, hopefully this evening!0 -
Thanks Marion x0

Thanks Vix, I'd forgotten about that! Changed it now
Warehouse have some really nice dresses. One thing that's great about being back is all the shops I now have access to! However I'm resisting the tempatation to buy clothes until I reach my ideal weight. Plus - I don't have the money at the moment anyways "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" Afternoon how are we all?:D Taking a break from painting, if I see another paint brush ever again:rotfl: looks very good though, we went to buy a bath panel plain white at Wickes £59.99:eek: so the brown wooden one we have I painted with under coat, primer and finally white gloss and it looks good and saved money, the lino we are getting from a carpet remnants shop and the tiles they sell at poundland but OH wants to have a look at topps tiles first so we are really making the money go far, the next door neighbour said he would help us with the bathroom which is very kind of him, we certainly have some lovely neighbours, his wife takes my little one to school every morning as she is a T.A there and says she is going that way anyway so...
Apart from the eldest not being at school the move is coming along nicely:D0 -
Missy, it was my daughters 2Gb Creative Labs 'stone' the display failed and the button played up. Should be here in a couple of days. I forgot my mp3 player today for the gym, so suffered in silence
Enjoy your sons sports day, are you competing?? Three legged race? egg and spoon? Wheelbarrow?
KPC along with many others, my kids will be more than happy to test
Ajax, just thinking, should a certain Nigella, be added to your signature?
PLG, having been to Hong Kong back in march, I found flying played havoc with my weight, oddly enough I just checked and I gained 4kg as well. Now I know I was on the beer at a rugby tourenment, but it still could be a reason, give it a few days for your bady to settle down. Dont panic, failing that I suggest a few games of scrabble with Mr PLG!!
Victory, nice piece of DIY there, I thought for a moment you had a brown wooden bath!! This weekend's fitting of the French Doors has been postponed, so looks like I am repainting and tidying the study after the door and windows were installed.
I am on a course all of next week, ICND1, 'InterConnecting Network Devices' there is another exam after that which I hope to pass, though I have yet to schedule the exam yet.

Hi
Been yo yo dieting on and off for years. Succeeded 18 years ago with the help of WW, but they haven't worked for me since. I am trying again on my own and lost 12 Kg, recently started to plateau for no apparent reason so I upped the exercise and having asked my Dr for Metformin for my hypos linked to PCOS I decided to try a lower carb diet. She advised me to try GI, so I looked into my diet a bit and decided that I was eating more carbs than the recommended 50 % . I decided to reduce my carbs to about 30%. Been doing this for 10 days now and so far so good, will keep you informed.
WEIGHT LOSS TO DATE 11.5kg I weigh myself in Kg's so that I don't really know what I weigh as it depresses me - in Kg's all I concentrate on is the amount lost!!0 -
Suggs I don't think they have Mums and Dads races anymore in the sports day
Typical - the first year where I stand a chance of not coming totally last and they stop doing it :rotfl:
Mine was exactly the same MP3 player as your daughter's! Obviously a reliable model thenStill, can't complain, it was a freebie and I am grateful they are 'servicing or replacing' without a quibble
PLG I had an 8lb gain after my skiing holiday in March. I did pig out on sweets a bit, but you'd think the 7 hours a day skiing might have made up for it  Anyway, like many others on here who have had 'holiday' gains, most of it was gone the following week. It is great to hear you say you'll shift it no problems, that's the perfect attitude!(Please can you make sure I'm saying the same thing when I report my next holiday gain
)
Hello Patchwork Cat! Welcome to our little weight loss team! Thank you for introducing yourself and well done on your great loss so far0 -
Hey patchwork cat,
I'm the same - I find it easier dealing with kilos as the total amount registers as simply a number with no visual association!
vix, I suspected that Hancock would be dodgy - I'm glad you confirmed my suspicions as it gives me an excuse to avoid it (OH indicated he might like to see it).
victory - sounds like you've got some great neighbours! I can't complain about my mum's neighbours as they are my grandparents! :rotfl: Any progress with an appeal to get your older son into the school you want?
missy - is your son as active as you? If so, I'm sure he will do very well tomorrow!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

Hi again peoples.
Wish gok would come over my house and give me a fashion overhaul!
Matt and i have applied for this scheme thing for people who are key workers to get a discounted rent. Well hope we get one cos it would be the lushest thing to happen in my life thus far. They wanted to know how much we estimate to spend in a month on stuff. It said house insurance but i havent got a clue and my mum had gone out so we guessed about a £100 odd, now i think about it it sounds low? i dunno.0
