Welldone Lainie and Demondoctor :j
and congrats Vix :T
I'm skiving at work atm (no boss) and so have tuned my computer to the radio. They keep mentioning 'Sweet Wednesday' and talking about retro delights. I really do pick my days don't I? Anyway, I didn't get to the cinema on Sunday but we are going tonight. I always have pancakes on pancake day so I feel I may need to pick up some 'nibbles' to ease us into the film :rotfl:0 -
Just had an email saying my 'serviced or replaced' MP3 player is on it's way back. Yay!
Missy was your mp3 a creative labs one?? The words are exactly the same as mine! Having a nightmare with the Ipod shuffle, just trying to work out where on myself to clip it, it seems too many flabby bits result in pullage on the headphonesI even bought new headphones that fit over the ear and they dont fit either. Ah well.
Im not posting much these days purely as I dont know what to post. Odd really, but hey thats me. I guess this is me trying more to get balance and not worry about the gains and maintianing I hope you guys are all doing well. Not even sulking about the damm FA and Football League screwing my football club  Ajax, reagarding the pressie, if the chap is expecting something, then do the exact opposite. I hope that makes sense, if he expects a silly present, then do something sensible, they normally have kittens, trying to work out the punchline, failing that bricking up the entrance to the pub the day he gets back makes sense to meGood news about MrsA getting back, I guess it would be rude not to have a decent celebration

2nd worst event of the day was when i was trying to help an elderly man. I was walking home and this frail man was walking across the crossing (there is a set of two, not just a big one across the whole road) as i approached he was over the other side of the road and his bag was left in the middle. I crossed the road and asked if it was his bag and he shouted "thats my bag" and i said did you want me to take it across for you? and he said in this really rude voice, "oh f*** off" I felt like taking his bag and putting it right on the other side of the road again.
Last time i'm going to go out of my way for an old man in a brown cord coat.
Yeah sorry about that, you startled me on the way to the park :rotfl:The bag had some puppies I was going to showProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Welldone Lainie and Demondoctor, efrieze and Bindiboo
KPC, Ajax and Granny, never mind, seems there is a few on the small gain team this week. I blame the weather.:DBrighton_belle wrote: »Erqueen, the red carpet is down to welcome you to our very exclusive 'we're not having a holiday this year' club:rotfl: .
Can I be in the not so exclusive, "going to the coast with the kids, please help me, I guess a bottle of vodka a day might help me cope, but what the hey, MrsS and I are going to Tunisia in October" club?
Not been as good as Ajax with the Tesco deals, but half the cost of the Kids holiday was 'piad for' by Mr T.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

evening lovely people. Here is the chart. A few haven't wi. A few who haven't for several weeks I have hidden on the chart to keep it as compact as possible. But say the word and you can be back in a flash.
No prizes for guessing demondr gets SOTW:j . Special mention to efreze, who was brave enough last week to be honest about her gain, and therefore gets the reward of an excellent hard earned loss this week, and kenny, who also had a good week:T . Quite a lot of sts'ers. That is still a good result peeps.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Sorry I missed the chart - I sts this week so have to get my head back on and LOSE this week. The social diary isn't as hectic as last week so I can get my head down aND GET ON WITH IT.
Congrats to all the losers and stsers and a massive well done to demondoctor!!!
I have been to the gymtwice this week and aquafit last night so fingers crossed.....
Speaking of fingers - I stabbed myself with the eye end of a needle on Saturday and it seemd oK til yesterday when it has swollen up and really hurts. I think I have a touch of cellulitis so have been soaking it in salt water hot and cold. Oww. It seems a tiny bit better tonight so we will see - I had to sleep with it hanging out of the bed last night ;o(
BB - hope that red carpet is from freecycle lol
I couldn't join your club as I live for holidays - I devote myself to finding the best deals so I am a MSE person - as my Mum says - champagne tastes and beer income!!

Evening all,
Sorry I'm late for the chart this week. Been a crazy busy week - finally arrived in Glasgow and have been busy introducing OH to the family, showing him around and unpacking.
Whilst we were in London/Oxford for the week we ate out twice a day (lunch and dinner) however I was careful. Fruit for breakfast, healthy veggie cafes for lunch/dinner - no fast food/junk OR fizzy drinks. However, that said - I somehow managed a 4 kilo gain this week  That's a month's worth of weight loss down the drain! Aaaarrrrggghhhhhh! Well c'est la vie.
Went to the tourist info office in Glasgow today with OH and got cycle route maps and walking maps for Glasgow area. Also ordered funky folding bikes from the Argos clearance sale (£70 each) - they will get delivered on Friday. The reason we got folding bikes is because you can use them any time on any train without reservations. Reservations are generally required for regular bikes - as there is limited carriage space available. Once I start uni I can cycle down to the train station, fold the bike, take the train to Glasgow and then cycle to uni! In the meantime OH and I can take the train to various locations and go on cycling trips. So that 4 kilos is going to shift soon - plus more!
Well done to everyone that lost/sts this week. Missy - congrats on fine tuning your calorie intake v's exercise calculations."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
PLG - Glad to hear you've made it all the way to Glasgow safely. I'm sure, like you, that the minor gain will be off in no time. Hope you have a fab time up there.
Just got back from seeing Mamma Mia. Oh my! I am NOT an Abba fan but this was brilliantly done. I couldn't imagine a whole stage show / film done around the existing songs of one pop band. It is a true chick flick! Go see it! The cast was fantastic. If you don't have anyone to go with don't worry. Go by yourself (yep even you Ajax) and no one will notice. I cannot remember the last time I saw a cinema so full.

Oh and no sweets! Little popcorn but that doesn't count. The sweet queue wasn't long but wasn't moving either. I took my bag of sweets to the front of the queue, just put them down on the top, and walked off.
So nice of the cinema to be so understaffed that they help me not break my diet^^0
