I ended up not having a rest day after all yesterday - I ate 2 biscuits over my allowance so I was back on the bike in the evening

My calorie intake for this week will be an average of 1555/day - I know this is over and above the 1500 I said I'd do, but I had two very heavy exercise days where I raised the calories to 1700-ish (theoretically the right thing to do...) I'm not even going to try to predict what it might be at weigh in tomorrow because the weight has been all over the place in the latter part of this week

Babykat - great post - you're doing so well! Do you feel loads healthier?

What's this about Petrichor and holidays? Is it like my "you'll never get me out running?" :rotfl:

Vix welcome back! Welcome to the joys of wii fit too! :D

Lainie - your poor son... but I'm glad they were able to act quickly and sort it out. You must be exhausted. Hope you can catch up on your sleep soon.

Hiya Delly! Sounds like you'll need to catch up with sleep too. I'd be interested to hear about the fitness coach thing too, not sure it'd be my cup of tea but I said that about the wii fit and I enjoy that :p

Danni I know how you feel. I've had a slip up this weekend :/ Had chinese on friday...although I only had special fried rice and crabmeat and sweetcorn soup. I had a cheesburger at McDs when I went to Asda last night.......so today, I am trying to be good. So I expect a gain tomoz :(:(

Other than that everything seems to be going good, Im really getting into the exercise, I go walking, swimming, aqua aerobics and tae kwon do at LEAST once a week. Try and doing swimming twice if I can afford it.

Its showing, I'm losing the inches :):) 2.5 inches off my waist already!!

Just been to the car boot aswell, and it was HEAVING!! So many people were there! Me and OH are hoping to have a sort out and do one next week!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend?

Last year petrichor & I became founder members of the 'We're not having a holiday this year' club. Other members seem to have fallen by the wayside. Based on the last x years, pet & I see this as an ongoing club. OUr member is mainly underpinned by having OH's who aren't interested in holidays and for various reasons we're not taking up the oprion to go on holiday alone.
Petrichor - panic over then - you gave me a fright with all this 'holiday discussion'. How could you!:rotfl:
Delly - you have been missed and I was beginning to get concerned that you had been overwhelmed by fumes from the weefest. Look forward to hearing form you again soon, once you've had some s.l.e.e.p.
Missy - a great Cav win!!! Sooo exciting:j :j . I always fancied one of those king of the mountain jerseys.
Laine - that sounds grim. Well done on geting him to the hosp.
Danni I can't remeber how much you feel you need to loose, or what method you are using to achiee that. Why did you start off wanting to lose weight?
Do you know what makes you fall of the wagon - is it social events, boredom, not allowing yourself enough treats. Knowing what triggers this can sometimes help to avoid them too often. But real life does intervene. Never beat yourself up over food. Food is good. It's got to be about balance to be sustainable.
Vix - that's a great write up of your holiday. Sounds like you had a good time despite weather. And maybe the wiifit is the way forward for you. I thought what you said you felt after you saw your friend with anorexia really powereful - keep hold of that desire to be happy with your body and health. Maybe this wii fit way of getting a bit fiiter and toned will be the best option and something you can share with Matt too:j
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

ouch Laine, that sounded horrible. Hope he gets better soon and it doesnt return.

BB: mmmmm, that feeling has gone now. How bad is that? The most funniest thing is, that the wii fit has said ive lost a lb already. I love that machine even though i know its lying!!

hope all is well with you all. I worked down the port this morning, they had a ship in that can hold 5,000 people. One of the biggest apparently. All exciting stuff happening in my life!!

right i am off to play cards with matty poo's (he has to re teach me the games every time we play, must be pretty annoying!)

    ciao

    Evening all,

I'm now at my mates house in Oxford - we arrived here yesterday (Saturday) and we're leaving for Glasgow tomorrow morning.

Oxford is really beautiful - have to say I'm very impressed by it. Luckily I don't live here as I'd spend all my money in the awesome Alice in Wonderland shop. :rotfl:

No idea how I'm getting on weight wise - not came across any scales since I left Japan. My mum has a set so I'll have to check it out tomorrow. *fingers crossed* On a good note - we have been walking A LOT - around 18,000 steps a day. On a bad note we've been eating out twice a day - so I fear the worst! Time will tell!

OH has been a typical Japanese tourist and gone mad with his camera. We arrived in the UK on Tuesday night and he was already taken around 1,700 photos!

BabyKat - congrats on your awesome loss!

Missy - good luck calculating your calorie intake in relation to your exercise.

Lainie - sorry to hear about your son, I hope he feels better soon!

STS for me this week I have given up on the 2lb leeway go in 17 days for the hols:rolleyes: can't complain, tried on bikini and I was not sick so am wearing it:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: that is if the flat owner ever returns my emails to let me know what the prices have gone up to:rolleyes:
Been invited to a very posh wedding in september, so looking forward to,ladies out there or even gents to, would you think it would be best/cheaper to hire the outfits suits for the men and something for me rather than buy and hten have it in the wardrobe or not? I can't imagine they have anything posh enough at the car boot sales I go to:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hello gorgeous people! I'd like to report my first STS :D Feeling good :D

    Average daily calorie intake: 1553
Exercise: 11.5 hours of mostly exercise bike (185km) & running (26km)
Body fat is down slightly, water and muscle both up slightly

So that's still a lot of effort for a STS but I feel it's a step in the right direction getting my calories up from the 1200-1300 range :) I'm going to do the same this week. I have really enjoyed the extra flexibility on what I can eat. I'm still trying to keep breakfasts at around 25% of daily intake too and that's going well :)

Hey Sooz - looking good there, 2.5 inches off the waist is brill! Great variety of exercise too!

BB, did you see Gary Imlach losing it while he was yelling for Cav sprinting for the line? :rotfl: One of the funniest things I've seen on the show ever, especially with Chris Boardman just standing there cool as anything :rotfl:

Hey PLG, glad to hear you're enjoying Oxford! That's such a long journey you've had, a full week on the move almost. 1,700 photos :rotfl: Have you actually seen his face without a camera in the way? That would be 50 rolls of film in 'old money' ;)

Victory, well done on STS and good idea about the 2lb, just forget about it and chill! I feel similarly, I was hoping to lose a bit extra before hols but now I think it'll be so much easier just to deal with the gain afterwards.

As for the wedding, if it was me I would probably buy something, but not something mega posh and expensive, just something that's good enough and won't break the bank. Then I've got it if anything else crops up :) I'm not up to date on rental prices - how do they compare to buying something say from Debenhams own range?

Good luck all still to weigh in today :)
