Thanks BB, you're right ... a little bit more than two stone lighter, so this time last year I would 've been even tireder!

Yes, Mr Granny is doing some cooking and even the vast majority of the shopping but he has a very busy life to lead now that he doesn't get paid to go to work. He has a personal mission to go and visit every building more than about 50 years old in the entire country. This prevents him being in our house for more than about 2 days a week. Tomorrow Hertfordshire, Wednesday Devon, Thursday Devon ... next week Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Ipswich, Dorset. No wonder the world's running out of oil.

I'm going to Liverpool at the end of this month, Missyg, to see the Klimt exhibition, then up to Northumberland in August for the sun drenched beaches. And it is only 7 more days to go with staff adnd children ... then I have the school to myself and can work in peace and quiet and catch up on all teh things I haven't done.

Young bean, missy has reminded me of your post - can I echo what she said - 6 hrs is excellent. It seems important to me that it is fun and sustainable. You must be having an impact on your health on the inside which is the most important thing and it will help with your weight loss over time.
Love the sound of MR GN's building project granny. What an interesting idea. I'm glad that's why he can't always cook for you. I keep meaning to get MR BB doing more cooking. He's always willing to help but I'd like an evening or two off from doing any thinking sometimes. I need to get him doing a few meals from scratch - add it to the 'to do' list.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

BB and Missy Thank you for the kind words.

I am doing more exercise than I have ever done in my life, but part of me is thinking....is it enough?? Mainly because I've not had a loss in 2 weeks.

I know sorry, Im getting all :( *sigh*

My problem is I expect results straight away. Im expecting to lose 4 stone in 3 weeks! I know Im never going to lose it that fast, just need to "re-wire" my brain!!

Grannynise Im not on holiday :( mores the pity! OH is trying to organise us going camping in the Lakes soon. I love it there :):) He really wants to take me abroad, but I dont have a passport yet :/ then apparently he is taking me to Spain! haha

On a much lighter note, I have just come back from swimming! No idea how many lengths I have done, but I know I did 8 without touching the ends or sides!! Which is ace for me! 3 months ago, I couldnt swim 1/2 length without feeling knackered and worn out..

Hope everyone is having a great evening :)

    Sooz xx

lol ajax, would you pinch less than she did? OH said he wished he could make me scream like that. there are pictures somewhere, I'll post links to them - they probably wouldn't be allowed on this website. There are pics from our tour of hte cathedral too - i'll let you know when they are up.

granny, i like the sound of mr granny's mission. i think that will be my mission when i retire too. Where is he visiting in Yorkshire? Aren';t some of the nicest ones now turned into REALLY nice hotels? now there's a thought. . . thanks for the thought missy - there were quite a lot of injuries but no huge ones. One of our lads got a spectacular cut above his eyebrow that bled everywhere and made him look very butch. Next week is the festival of history at kelmarsh hall which is just AMAZING. The biggest history event in the uk and well worth the admission, even for 2 days. You can spend a whole day watching hte arena shows and a whole day in the camps and still not see everything. apparently there is a show titled 'undressing mr darcy'. may have to go and watch that one . . .

KPC I'd be more gentle and pinch different bits, just to see what happened :p

Any sw'er who make the carrot cake using scan bran? For info in the interests of economy I have stopped buying that and substituted 50g of plain old bran instead -tastes as good (16 syns per cake), which works out at 6p of bran per cake rather than 40-50p of scan bran:j .
    .

Morning BB - when you make this do you use bran cereal? Any chance of posting the recipe? I eat scan brans daily with yogurt/quark mixture and berries but I would be nice to have a bit of cake once in a while!:o
I have been ordering mine on line but our SW consultant told us yesterday that they are back in class from this week so we can buy them there! It works out cheaper in class than buying on line or in Holland & Barrett so I am well pleased.

Ooh, forgot to say too...I had to buy some new trousers for work, they were hanging off me! When I first bought them they were tight, and dug in when I sat down. They were a size 20! Now I'm wearing size 16! These ones dig in like my old ones did, but like my old ones it won't be long until they are hanging off me :D (/quote)

    :j :j :j   :j :j :j
Isn't it exciting? I can't wait to get into a size 20 and a 16 is something to have dreams about! But it will come - whoohoo!!:T :T
