BB, did you see Gary Imlach losing it while he was yelling for Cav sprinting for the line? :rotfl: One of the funniest things I've seen on the show ever, especially with Chris Boardman just standing there cool as anything :rotfl:
Well done on your sts! And what is absolutely brill is that you have raised you cal intake. You had a bit lof wobble the other day when you talked of bringing it down again last week. So well done for hanging in there for the week and giving your body time to adjust.
And well done Victory for letting go of those magic '2lbs'. It is just the power that magic numbers have over us sometimes that we need to break. As for the rentl - it might be easier to kit the men out by rental (it's what my dad's doing for a big wedding next month, as he doesn't expect to need a suit again) but maybe for yourself you can find something in the sales? I've got to outfit find myself very soon for this family wedding. For various reasons i need to look as fab as poss but the actual day...well, lets just say I can't wait for it to be over it's not going to be a lot of fun.
PLG thanks for the warning. Don't be suprised if I have a sudden need to file my nails/wash my hair if you ask if I want to look at your holiday snaps!:rotfl:I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Oh oh...
OH just called to say he's making me a chicken soup for tea (aww....). I guarantee it will not be very Slimming World friendly and he usually cooks as often as I do.
I don't know if I should put the fire brigade or the hospital on stand by
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. Will play catch up shortly0 -
Well I am back from Belgium and am feeling in good spirits, even though my husband managed to trip over a curb and sprain his ankle on our last day there. We did have a good time, with lots of walking and lots of beer!
I guess we must have walked more than we drank as I have come back and lost 1.5 pounds. I am feeling really proud of myself at the moment and since my new haircut have also been getting a lot of compliments and people asking me if I have lost weight!:j :j Best of all I found a really nice little top in Tesco reduced to half price - I tried on the largest size they do (which has never fitted me before) and IT WAS TOO BIG!!! :T I had to get the next size down! How amazing is that!?:D
Anyway as I said I am happy happy happy at the moment so I am sprinkling my happy fairy dust all over the forum to share my happy with everyone here. Thanks everyone - you are all lovely!!
Love

back from tewkesbury, knackered and suntanned and overexcited. Stayed good friday and sat but got ambushed by olives, warm cinnamon cashew nuts and other things on sunday. Still i walked off a lot of it - we got a special tour of tewkesbury abbey with the custodian - he took us up into the roof to see how it was actually constructed; into the sanctuary(!) to see the original altar stone, the medieval tiles and wall paintings. The piece de resistance was when he opened up the crypt to show us the last resting place of the duke of clarence - he was brother to the king and was executed for treason during the wars of hte roses - if you know your shakespeare, he's 'false, fleeting, prejur'd clarence', reputedly drowned in a butt of malmsey wine.
well, down we went, expecting to see a vault. He, and his wife are in a glass box. Quite emotional really. Could have been even more emotional as one of hte gils went to rest her hand on the lid . . only to find there was no lid. She got her fingers out just in time. They're so fragile they would in all likelihood have crumbled to nothing.
OH managed to get a skirt for his outfit, thank goodness. There was a very bizarre moment when we were all lining up to get corsets adjusted. Catherine decided the best way to sort mine out was to lace it INCREDIBLY tightly at the back and then shove her hand down the front to adjust things. Thought OH was going to pass out at that one.
rofling at bbelle going all little house on the prairie - i get that feeling too! Noice to see plg back in the UK and YAY MARION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
