Victory, I just dont know what to say, I really feel for you. I tend to front up in these situtions and would try to speak to the owner. I know your trying to get hold of them. I hope it works out for you.

Kenny, good scores on the doors well done.

No way am I a TOG or a TYG, not sure what I am actually, Steady on Ajax, your far too quick off the mark for me, (but thats always been your problem lol) Whats with the golf on telly anyways!

Well last weekend well and turely did me in, but I am happy. Why? Because I think I am slowly been able to relax a little and enjoy myself once in a while. So for all the beer, choc cake, pie and chips, biscuits, sweets coffee we had last weekend. On Monday I was up a whopping 9lb when compared to Friday!! So in spite of the Chicken and bread on Wednesday I am happy to post that the net gain for the week is a mere 0.9lb

Best of all though, my numbers have done the fortnightly foxtrot and......

    Other numbers
Body Fat DOWN from 23.9% to 22.5% :)
    Muscle Mass UP 4.4lb from 72.17% to 73.7% :)
    BMI 31.65% :)
    Total Weight Lost 44.2% :)

Finally I guess the end of an era is nigh, I think after a long long time it would be good for another hand to takeover with regards to starting the new threads when the time comes. I think it needs a refresh? Any takers?? I will help with instructions, but its not that difficult, after all I can do it :) PM me or post, now dont all rush at once :rotfl:

Finally Finally What are they doing -30 points?? Are they trying to kill off my beloved football club, now that someone is actually to do something good there, while the people that did all the wrong doing get off scot free

Nothing planned for the weekend. I rarely do which is just how I like it after a week in the office. Might change if I can talk my friend into going to see Mamma Mia on Sunday.

My daughter and niece went to see mamma mia last night they said it was brilliant and the whole cinema was singing along and dancing.

hope you get to see it.

....whaddya mean, what's with the golf on telly? Is the Scottish Open breaking into your CBBC schedule or something? :p Wait 'til next week when it's The Open and BBC will have wall-to-wall golf for 4 days.

..... this is a disgrace. I understand and agree with the first ten points but there's only so many times you can kick someone when they are down before you actually kill them

It does seems especially cruel and I hope they win their appeal against the 10 points. Have faith! Leeds started with a 15 points deduction last season and didn't (unfortunately) get relegated again :)

EDIT: Oops here I am thinking I'm back in the sports forum instead of the LW thread soooooo congrats :T on the tiny, tiny gain!

    Well done Kenny :)

Well done Suggs too - thanks for posting up the numbers. That gain's not a gain when your muscle is up 4.4lb and body fat down! :D Absolutely fantastic set of results this week! (Are you doing weights in the gym?)

Hope you have a great weekend KPC!

My little bit of news is I've done a 15km run today, which is a new personal best in distance for me :D My time was 1h 53m 42s, I know this is slow but I was more worried about making it a full run with no walking/stopping than getting a good time :) Weather was horrendous and I did part of it in a waterlogged park, not making excuses but it was pretty horrible.

That makes my weekly running mileage 26km, up from 25km last week. I've also done 112km on the exercise bike so far this week (4 sessions) :)

Wow Missy - that is some mileage (or km-age!!), 5km was enough for me!:j :j :j

Victory - I am so sorry to hear about your hassles - it must be hard having such a Mum. Where are you going in Spain? Is there any chance you could get somewhere else? I do hope you manage to catch this woman in and explain the mistake to her - lets hope when she realises that you have your flights booked for the times you said she will realise it is your Mum's error?!:A :A

I went out for lunch today and it wasn't great.... at least I haven't blown many calories as it was very nouvelle! We have a Hilife dining card which you pay £50 for the year and then you only pay for one meal when 2 dine for 2 or 3 courses. It makes lunch out relatively cheap, especially as I meet this friend every week! When we have a lunch like today it is good as you only feel half as peeved!! lol:rolleyes:

I have a friend who has a serious weight problem (30 stone plus I think), and she had the full gastric bypass and bowel rerouting done 6 weeks ago. I saw her yesterday and she has lost nearly 6 stone!!!!!!!!!!!
I must admit she had grossly swollen legs, and that has already gone down so that probably accounts for a couple of stone but even so she looks so much better in herself! The consultant was quite concerned at first but when they realised that a lot of it was fluid I think they were pleased.
Made me realise that everyone's problems are relative!:D :D

Well done on all these great losses - especially Kenny - it's a bummer when the scales are all over the place though isn't it??
I sts on my Wed am weigh in this week, but last Saturday I had a loss of 2lbs

[quote=petrichor;12408733...Hope_you_have_a_lovely_holiday_in_France_Lois :j is OH going with you? If so then his health must be really improved :j ...MrP and I have actually got round to discussing a holiday but that's as far as it got :D

    xxxx[/quote]
Ha! A viper in the nest! I'll expect complete sackcloth and ashes and prostration petrichor if you so casually tear up our 'we're not going on holiday this year' constitution. It's a slippery slope you know, 'just discussing it'.
Suggs - I am so happy that you feel you are finding a life/food/weight balance. That is a real victory. And what amazing stats!:T . Your request to step down from the new forum making is noted - thanks for doing it for so long:beer: . I won't volunteer just yet as hopefully someone else will feel it's their calling, but I'm sure one of us will take it from you and take a stint.
Victory - I think you can safely safe you can never rely on your mother again to represent you in any way. This is a horrid mess and I am so sorry. I hope you get to speak to the owner direct and a solution found.
Loving the Tour de France missy. I watch it slumped on the sofa:D . A great british stage win and today's was really exciting too. Phil and Gary both looking quite aged since I last saw them.
A weekend of heavy duty financial reviewing ahead:( That'll be fun then...
Loving my yogurt maker. I feel all little house on the prairie every time I use it:D
Big welcome to newbies bglam and demondoctor:j . Please join in as much as you can for maximum motivation and fun. Some of us have been here a long time now and we can vouch for the help the wonderful peeps on this forum give us in losing the weight and then keeping it off.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks Lesley! I think 10km is more 'my' distance, so I'll probably stick at 5's and 10's from now on :) I'm glad I did 15km once though :D

Why wasn't the lunch great? Do you mean 'cos it was small or because it wasn't good food?

I hope your friend is doing OK after her surgery, that sounds really scary. The health part is the number one reason why I wanted to lose weight.

Ooh glad you're enjoying the Tour too BB! The best is yet to come I'm sure although Cav's win was so exciting! :D Lots of nasty looking crashes so far though :( Fortunately most of them have looked worse than they actually are.

Glad you're enjoying the yoghurt making! I had a brief stint with a yoghurt maker when my son was very young, but it didn't last long :o Don't you enjoy financial reviewing? I quite like it... am I sad? Hahaha.

This weekend I'm hoping to get our tent out in the back garden and check it over because we'll probably spend a few nights under canvas during our holiday :) Might put that on hold if it's going to be torrential rain though...
