    Morning all

At work so just a quickie - there's an interesting article here about someone who died from drinking too much water!

On the subject of admitting to have crushes, maybe we should start a clique and add it to our signatures...! ;)

    Morning All

I always remember a England Cricketer been badly effected on tour once from drinking too much water a few years ago.

On the subject of crushes, in some peoples cases the signature box is too small for all those names??? Pet and her hunks and Ajax. Missy (trademarked and all) and her men of winter and lycra. Ajax and anyone  Me and anything female with a pluse!

Kenny, Friday is my weighin day, as Saturday (during the season) I play rugby and always always put on weight over the weekend, and I rarely drink these days, ok last weekend was an exception but it was a weekend away. If your out regular on Friday nights I would go for a Friday weighin if I was you.

Anyone know how bad half a roast chicken from Tesco with bread is, though I can guess :(

I'm desperately trying to think of a celeb I fancy. I know there are some but nothing new is springing to mind

I would love to be a TOG (actually I'd prefer to be a TYG but I'm possibly past that :() but I tune in to SK earlier for the show tune and only get to hear about 10 mins of the radio before I get to the office. Only time I hear Old Tel is when I'm late...

Definitely a weird one that Lainie :D

I did used to fancy Harrison Ford until I saw the opening sequence of The Fugitive and decided he looked far too much like my dad. That didn't feel right AT ALL *shudders*

Does anyone know what the latest research on how much water we should be drinking actually is?

As usual, the research reports contradict each other - some recommend 8 glasses a day, however there was a recent report that said it's not necessary to drink lots of water as most people get enough from food and whatever they drink to quench their thirst. I go along with the latter - I prefer water when it's been boiled and had a teabag immersed in it, and the more the better!

I'll admit to being a TYG but not a TOG - all things being relative of course - but I can't bear to listen to SK!

Suggs, roast chicken is only an average of just over 100 cals per 100g (skin off). Bread approx 100 cals per thick slice granary or wholemeal. Flora spread or similar, if you had spread, is 30-70 calories per 10g (1-2 slices) depending if it's extra light or not.

Doesn't sound too bad to me anyway Suggs :D Especially considering how much you work off in the gym!

Did a run today - a slowish 6km. I'll be back on the exercise bike for an hour later but only a light effort one :) I'm enjoying my higher calories of 1500 per day but can't help feeling that I'm eating too much  It is going to take a lot of will power to see the week out with this.
  • i couldnt run 6km if i tried

    is 6 meters enough??????

Oh it was, not often done, but did the weekly shop in Tesco, and saw them, so bought one with fresh crusty bread. Half each it was :D
