kpc - i have no probs whatever the day is.
delly - small slip ups that you are very aware of, so aren't running wildly out of control. You're still doing fab - very positive jobs you got done today and kind of backs up your decision to put the ginger pigdog somewhere else for awhile - your energies are better spent at the mo getting this sort of thing done, so you feel in control of your environment if nothing else.
Big welcome swadey - we are a jolly nice lot here. As delly says - the important thing is to post here regularly, and most particularly when you fall off the wagon so we can help you break the pattern by getting back on it again pronto. Sounds tough with cooking for so many. I guess it's no good suggesting the swadey kitchen offers one meal take it or leave it and go hungry - er, can you tell I don't have kids:rotfl: . I can here the revolt and wailing 'it's not fair' from here:D . You've had a good warning re your health, and well done on finding us here. My top tip: use a smaller plate for your own meal. We bought smaller plates at a charity shop so it always looks like we have piles of food for dinner.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
1.5 lb loss this week - hurrah.
Not had a good day today though - have munched my way through half a packet of choc chip cookiesthrew the rest in the bin which is not very ms of me - but if they aren't in the house I won't eat them:rolleyes:
Congrats to all the losers and sts.
Welcome swadey - many of us have a fair amount to lose so you're in good company.
I applaud anyone who braves the gym - I'm much happier jumping around like a loonie in my front room to a Davina/Nell McAndrew video :rotfl:0 -
Evening all, I have been ravenous all day, I've eaten muesli for breakfast, and beans on toast for lunch, and snacked on 2 pears, 2 apples, 3 plums and a tangerine inbetween.
Just waiting for my dinner to cook (battered fish with broccoli & prawns) then will prob have some pineapple for dessert!

You have done so well keeping the weight off FFM, not surprised you're getting compliments! Enjoy the BBQ and dinner this week!
Well done on loss Lois! What exercise are you doing? *nosy*
Beanie I'm so happy you got a result in the right direction!!! Well done!
Fredsnail & Efrieze congrats too! All good stuff!
Welcome Swadey & Window Shopper
Going out shopping for my new trainers soon hopefully! Have a good day all!0 -
Ok cupboards and fridge all cleared out. Need to go shopping now for healthy stuff didn't realise just how much carp I have let the children get away with eating either. Have decided to try to do the one meal for all tonight and tough luck, to be honest not looking forward to it but will try explaining why and see where that gets me.
Done the weigh in this morning too it feels kinda disheartening when you realise just how far you have to go and there is no quick fix and it's going to be a long, hard slog. Am setting myself a goal of 4lbs this week which I know is achievable for me on a first week as I've done it before and I think the more you have to lose the more comes off at the beginning does everyone think this sounds ok?
Going to walk DD3 to the park today instead of taking car and got loads and loads of library books to return so will carry them too should burn a few calories.
thanks for all the support guys I'm going to need it)

MORNING!
Well been to the pool, did 26 laps, and walked the dog already too, so a good start to the day!
Well done Swadey on clearing out. We have an 'eat it or starve' rule, they do each get to choose one fave meal a week but saying that I only have 2 kids. My hat goes out to you feeding five. Walking to the park and library sounds like a plan.
Well done Efrieze and fredsnail on the losses!!!!
Have a great day everyone, L xx0
