(Sorry for repeat post any 4kers but I'm desperate!)

Eek, I need help! I haven't been getting the emails about a hen weekend I'm going on the weekend after next and I have to find the following:

a party dress or something 'glam' for a casino night
a pair of new knickers which represent me for a game we have to play:eek:
a 70s outfit and a wig for an ABBA night

Where am I going to find all this at such short notice?! Also we are going on a boat trip, having lunch out in a pub and hiring a butler in the buff so it's going to cost WAY more than I was told (I've already paid £130 for accommodation )

Any ingenious ideas would be very gratefully received...

    Hi Bails

I've seen that our local ASDA is doing hen party stuff and I think they have some wigs! Re the knickers how about getting some cheap ones from a pound shop and sticking some stuff on them. Or you could get the tiniest ones and say they represent the inner you! Mind you does the game involve wearing them or just guessing whose is whose?

Butler in the buff? I hope they are no cocktail sausages on offer!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Well done on loss Lois! What exercise are you doing? *nosy*

Thanks Missy - walking mainly, and we went for a cycle ride at the weekend, which I'm planning to do again this weekend. :)

  • Bails, howabout checking out Ebid for your items. The good thing with Ebid is that you rarely get a bidding war - 'cos it's not that popular. Some people start low and don't realise that they will probably only get one bidder. Worth a look - there's lots of black dresses, knickers and quite reasonable 'big' wigs.

Lois Lane - am trying to lose about another stone and a half, although evenings out and glasses of wine seem to be getting in the way!! Well done on your loss so far too! How far have you got to go?

Hiya - I've got a bit more than you to lose, 5 stone altogether and with only 10lbs down, it sometimes feels a bit daunting, but I'm determined to do it. Weighing in at class definitely focusses my mind and I think twice before eating anything, even if it's free food.

Let me know if you'd like to join in with the challenge, and I'll add you to the chart.

Guess you're right about the dress Vix, just don't really go out so have no need of one. All my girly mates live Manchester way or abroad and aren't my size :o

What size are you? (if you don't mind telling us). Just thinking that we might be able to rummage through our dressing up boxes and find something suitable to lend you...?

Right - here goes with this week's chart, as I think I've got everyone.

The Slimmer of the Week award is shared this week, so well done Purplecatlover and Gerturdeanna who both lost 3lbs:j

Delly, Purplecatlover and Babykat have all achieved the monthly challenge too. :T

As usual, if I've missed anyone, please let me know.
