Just me and OH to cook for tonight woohoo so no temptation to pick kids left overs as well.

Hiya - I've got a bit more than you to lose, 5 stone altogether and with only 10lbs down, it sometimes feels a bit daunting, but I'm determined to do it. Weighing in at class definitely focusses my mind and I think twice before eating anything, even if it's free food.
Let me know if you'd like to join in with the challenge, and I'll add you to the chart.
LL
Looks like you're doing really well - and 10lbs is a lot (I keep thinking of it as two big bags of potatoes, phew!) - you're almost at the first stone!!!:T
Lost 1lb this week so am pleased as had a couple of slips off the wagon as had some nights out I was worried about...so am motivated to keep going!!
(Gulp) - yes do add me to the challenge (eek), might help me get to goal quicker! Do we set our own goals (...and can we change them if they prove too difficult lol!!!)??:o:j Bring on the bargains!!!! :j0 -
Morning all
Had a lovely time in London yesterday, took her to see Onerepublic in Kentish Town. Got to London for 3ish, I drove down to Finchley and got the tube to rest of the way and we just walked and walked, the monitor on my phone reckons around 4.6miles walked. I also went to the gym yesterday morning. Yes I was naughty and had a bag of chips after the concert, but I was hungary. Was home for 00:40 this morning. Thankfully I drove, it seems the trains to MK were suspended for 3 hours as some muppet decided to use the trains as target pratice with his gun up near rugby
Threads tend to need doing at around the 2000 mark, It would be nice if someone else does it, I am happy to tell you what to do. If not I will do it one more time. Just think I have been doing it for a long time and probably neglecting the thread a little bit. Besides I would like to think the thread as a whole needs a chance to focus on its core value, something I feel unable to do.Suggs: you a fab, you dont seem to post as regular now, but i for one miss your posts.
I'm a fab what exactley?? :rotfl: Nice ahem ..............glasses by the way.
Well done to all the losers, and to windowshopper nice start there. Gainers like myself, never fear, someone may miss the post and forget to put it in the chart :rotfl:

Morning, just had a hair cut ready for the big wedding on sat:D tomorrow it is nails and eyebrows, opted for the 5 day false nails rather than the full on things because I had them done many years ago and hated the way they made it impossible to even turn the dial on the washing machine let alone getting in the way all the time:D
Starving hungry today so keep clock watching for lunch, WW soup so will go and do some house work to keep it in check:rolleyes:0 -
Chart looks good as always Lois. Congrats to everyone who has had a good week whether that's loss, STS or enjoyed/deserved gain!
Bails, I'd be in the same boat as you with that remit - hope you get sorted, I'm sure any ideas I might have will be nothing you or the others haven't thought of already!
Glad you had a good time last night Suggs! Sounds like a very active day too so I wouldn't call the chips naughty!
Yesterday I had a whole bag (125g) of some sweets I brought back from Norway - 417 calories! :rotfl: I earned them by banking 300 cals deficit on Monday/Tuesday, so I could allow myself a bit extra yesterday and still be on trackIt was all that talk of treats on the thread, made me decide it was time I had a proper one!
Have a great day everyone!0 -
It happens to us all, the trick is to learn from it, to not let it happen again or if it does make sure that it is only for a day or two and does not make you defeatist, every positive rejoice it, every negative say ho hum and move on, fast and that way it won't beat you, you will beat it:D
Thanks Victory  and thanks for your comments, too, Katiepoppycat.
Despite having a mini blip today, where I bought a bag of crisps because I was late for work (not sure how I thought that would help...?), I feel that I'm more in control today, and getting through it. Thanks so much for helping me drag myself back in check. I'm still recording the food/exercise diary, and still planning my menu, and have made my lunch and snacks and brought them with me to work. My old mentality would be "Sod it, I've had crisps now, I might as well have what I like", but I'm working hard to get over this, and am feeling confident.
What a lovely board this is :T .

Well done with the 1lb off - it shows the plan works even when you don't stick to it 100% every day. :j
The challenge is to lose 5lbs each month, however you won't be pilloried or humiliated if you don't achieve it, and there's no problem with over-achieving either, if you want to set a bigger target for yourself.

I don't mind starting a new thread, but I wonder why we need to.
I also post on the Slimming World support thread, and they are up to post 6000 and something. They're in the Health section rather than I wanna..., so do you think it just depends who the board guide is?
