Bails - pm'd you on the fancy dress. for knickers, take an empty plastic bag and say you're the carefree type . . . . . or do my auntie ruby used to do, wait half an hour and announce 'this is a sh%t party! Who's got me knickers - i'm going home!'
purplecatlover - gammon cooked in coke is GORGEOUS - but thats a lot of sugar to be adding. It won't work with diet coke, the artificial sweeteners go wrong somehow. Check out Nigella Bites for a good ham in coke recipe - also for a soup recipe to use up the stock with Antoher Nigella one is a mixture of apple and cranberry juice, then cook red cabbage in the juices after.

Thanks Vixy, the gloves are a good idea for the casino night, I'll look in my local charity shop; black dress, what black dress?! The problem is I need to do this all as cheaply as possible as benefits don't stretch far and to be honest, I'd rather spend my money on things I really want rather than carp. Hmm. Don't I sound like a bundle of laughs?
Couldent agree more.

Oh boy, fell off the wagon bigtime today.
A friend called over this morning with her two boys. They played with DS for ages whilst we had tea and buns. I don't know if yours are the same as ours in NI but I had a cream finger and a cream horn.:D (sound dirty I know - darn, where's Ajax when you need him!:rotfl: ) At least I know now what she was trying to achieve LOL....
Was at my parent's house this afternoon and had 2 slices of apple pie, 1 x apple pastry and a cheese & ham sandwich and then stew for dinner:o
And I've just polished off another big bag of sensations and half a movie bag of minstrels. In my defence, I had no intention of eating anything when I came home but ex OH rang to speak to DS, but he'd fallen asleep on the way home from my parents. We didn't talk about anything significant but I was feeling really bereft when I hung up the phone and I just decided to have a binge.. yes, it was a conscious decision. I'm stuck in the house with DS every night and had could see no other way of dealing with my emotions other than the usual way... bum.
Will just have to start afresh again tomorrow.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
