Im at matts mum and dads, im here alone with matt but his mum and dad are here. Feels a bit weird!!!
The pic I saw was of your friend in the pink dress, a girl with long dark hair and her boyfriend all sat on a sofa. I even asked my bloke if he could tell which one was you based on your avatar! As for your prom photo, I know you won't believe a word of it but these are the best times Vix, you look lovely! I was chatting to a uni friend the other day and we couldn't believe how much we'd abused our bodies, physically and verbally for the past 10 years. One day I'll dig out a photo of me at uni where I thought I was fat and you'll see what I mean. Not lecturing, honest!
Sorry you is still poorly KPC, hope you pick up soon.

ssp only kicks in AFTER 4 days. the last thing i need when feeling ill like this is the anxiety about losing pay. It used to be that you were just paid at the discretion of your line manager - ie, it was up to them to tell HR not to pay you. Then they started offering sick pay officially and at the same, installed a clocking in system. After 10 months they withdrew sick pay - hard to blame them, comparing the 10 months of 2007 with the 12 months of 2006, sickness was up 40%! So we're back to the old system - but HR know when you aren't there - thanks to the clocking system. This is the first time i've been sick since the withdrawal so i don't know what will happen. It seems so unfair though.
Bails, empty your pm box! I've posted your parcel fist class - couldn't find hte feather boa alas. You'll have some ironing to do - I've rolled it all up into the tiniest parcel imaginable.0 -

That is p00 about the sick pay KPC. Easy to say but try not to worry about it, your body needs to recover so focus on that and you'll be able to get back to work sooner. Rushing back may only mean longer off later on xx PM box has a teensy bit of space now
Thanks so much for posting it all; first time my iron will see the light of day in about 3 years I think :rotfl:

Actually by law SSP kicks in after 3 days (ie if you worked a 5 day week and were off sick all week you would get SSP for 2 days) - but yes it is still carp, last thing you want when you are feeling like nothing at all is worry over money :mad:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Raph, 40 minutes, that's FANTASTIC!! :T There's nothing quite like being 'in the zone'
I really admire your journey, you've just consistently got on with it, even when you haven't lost etc, and your results are a real testament to your dedication.
I've tried dieting before, and failed. This time however something has just 'clicked'.
I am really, honestly, enjoying the exercise. I have bags more energy than I used to, I'm sleeping better, and I'm much happier with my body.
It felt so good today getting to 25 mins and still wanting to carry on. I remember when I first joined the gym, my target was to reach 15 minutes, I didn't think I could manage that when Simon wrote out my program.
And I couldn't manage it at first, I had to have a couple of 'walking' minutes in the middle.

I'm in the same boat kpc - will only be paid for 3 weeks this months as I had a week off at end of Aug sick. It is tough - I try to put money aside each month specifically to cover these times. Anything over a week and I can get ssp (I only work a 3 day week) . However in my case I have a wonderful employer who took a chance taking me on as I had such a bad health track record and she's a small 3 person business and couldn't afford to pay out lots of sick leave. In the last 2 years I've had two lots of 3 months totally incapacitated plus quite a few odd weeks. Ultimately kpc, your health is soo important and it's not worth flogging yourself: get properly better first. The price is really too high otherwise.
Spent the afternoon exploring moneysupermarket.com: it's brilliant.
Vix - I originally saw the photos with 3 peeps on a sofa too and was a little confused:D . But yes, everything bails and lois said is true - you are gorgeous.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
