Well done Raphael, Marion, FFM, Kymrob, PCL :D Sorry if I missed anyone. Good luck to everyone weighing today!

Vix, dare I mention the D word? How's it going? About whether I'd like to put some more weight on as I get older... my only hope is that I'll never be overweight again, so to stay comfortably within a healthy range I will always need to watch my weight. I'm not too bothered about the exact numbers, because I'll even out at whatever suits me at the time (within certain min/max boundaries) :) Now back to work or Granny will be on the warpath! ;)

Efrieze new PB fantastic! Did you get a goody bag, medal or anything from that event by the way? :p

Tagz, recovery going fab thank you for asking! Couldn't be better! Apart from the first week which was a bit uncomfortable, I can honestly say I'm enjoying taking it easy! :rotfl: That's not to say I won't enjoy getting back to my usual activities too though! Are you doing OK now?

FFM Thank you for the :j about my loss! :D:D Same to you - 50lb lost must be half your current body weight (ish)? Where are you now compared to 6 months ago and 12 months ago? I looked up mine and I'm 0.75lb lighter than 6 months ago, and 14lb lighter than 12 months ago (didn't reach target till Christmas last year).

Victory, my methods might not help you much as I think we have quite different patterns. My problem was never binging, it was falling into bad eating habits and getting lazy, so I needed to reprogramme myself into better habits! I have no problem including goodies within my daily cals sometimes or allowing myself an occasional bigger treat when I want it enough AND deserve it - this feels normal for me and we have stuff available in the house all the time.

What I'm wondering is, as you have maintained so well for such a long time now and seem to do fine 95%+ of the time, is whether you could accept the occasional 'binge/bootcamp' (or a slightly less extreme version) as a normal part of your maintaining? Or do you feel you must be on an even keel 365 days a year? :)

Spent too long replying again - have a good day all!

E, I never had my medal placed around my neck and I forgot to have the photo too. Kept my race number and got the official photo. Actually there are two official photos, one immediately after the after. The better one shows both feet off the ground, so yes I was running, but body going one way and boobs and flab trying hard to catch up :rotfl:The other photo is horrible. Looks like it was taken the instant the foot planted into the ground and you can see the 'shockwave' rippling up my thigh :rotfl:

We have enter a 4km Santa Run nearer Christmas, 500 jogging Santas cant be all bad :D

Welcome Windowshopper, indeed to all our newbies. Plenty of advices and links to before and afters on page1 so please feel free to have a look. :)

Purplecatlover, I normally soak it for about an hour, just to rinse it :) let me know how it goes in the slow cooker. Yesterday was the 1st stew of the year, so winter must me coming. :p
