Remarkably quiet for the last 24 hours. Hello anyone who may be there. I wonder if all the men can still be wrong if there are no women here to hear us
Missy, dunno if this is news to you, but there's a skiing game out for the Wii which uses the balance board. It's called Family Ski and is in my local Tesco for £27.71 so should be able to get it for much less than that with shopping around and cashbacks etc.0 -
Hi ajax, I'm here so you're still wrong anyhow:p .
Its weigh in day, so I'd like to report a 4lb loss which means I've finally lost a stone since April :j :j :j . Feel like I'm really back on track and don't really want to go off the rails again! The trouble is that on Friday, one of the parent and toddler groups is getting together to have a pub meal/child free night out. These opportunities rarely come up, so I will definitely go. I'm just debating whether or not to eat before I go and not eat at the pub but I thought it might seem a little too odd to go out for a meal and not eat, and I don't really want to spend the evening explaining and justifing. On the other hand, if I eat, I estimate a 4 or 5 lb gain - much of that will be water, but will probably take me the best part of a week to shift. I'm also getting quite stressed about seeing my physio again, but that's not 'til the end of August.
Mollymop Well done on your loss, 1.5lbs is not to be sniffed at, you should be really pleased:j . My loss looks better than it should do, because half of it was reloosing what I'd put on a couple of weeks ago.£2008 in 2008 member 552 £1947 to go! (started 20/1/08) Total wins £61
Weight loss since April 2008 - 14lbs a whole stone!:j0 -

Hi Ajax , well done LD :T and Mollymop :T .
It is remarkably quiet here, everyone must be off doing things they shouldn't!
I'm working but just popped in to see what's happening - usually it's impossible to catch up if I don't check in regularly.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi all - hope you are all having a nice tuesday (albeit an on and off rainy one).
I went into self-destruct mode on Friday and proceeded to eat anything that wasn't tied down over the weekend. I am on such a yoyo cycle at the momend and I am starting to really annoy myself. I know you won't believe me but on Sundayevening, the scales said I weighed a whopping 15lbs more than they said on Wednesday morning. When I say I went a bit mad, it's an understatement! Anyway, it was day 1 yesterday and I hope to turn is around in the next week or twobut I don't think I will be weighing in tomorrow. There doesn;t seem to be much point being second place SOTW one week and then GOTW (gainer) the next week! Makes me feel like a fraud.
Anyway, back to the exercise and control over the food thing...0 -
Haha efrieze.... it's a one weekend blip and the 15lb is just like a false holiday gain really. No real harm done, it's all good.

if the original tiles look flat and well fitted, just tile over the top of them. Get yourself a decent tile cutter and some spacers and you're well sorted, just pick yourself the best starting corner. It's an easy job except for the washing the grout off the tiles at the end. I hate that bit.0
