Good morning, I am a STS this week so the 2lb more to go proves yet again elusive, must take up missyg approach and make it happen:D it is only to get it to the 0 and 2lb under so I can have the odd paella on my hols, 24 days to go to that so there is hope:rolleyes: either or I am sure should be happy:rotfl: :rotfl: house is looking great now, quite a few unfinished jobs but it takes time so wanted to get it all done before the hols so extra push there.
Bit annoyed with myself and neighbour, he saw us move in and asked to buy my tumble dryer, agreed a price, he said on friday he would pay, today is monday and nothing, he took it as we had no room in the garage and seen as he was my new neighbour thought it would be fine but no money equals no food shopping today equals having to ask for it and feel let down:rolleyes:0 -

.....personally I'd have no qualms about knocking on his door and asking for it. You're so busy with the moving that you haven't really got time to get to the bank, so his overdue payment would be very helpful to you (people like to think they are being helpful - always the best way to get something)
What a random thing to do though... "Ahh, I see you have a tumble dryer. Can I have it?". Bizarre.0 -
Important things first
:j ...
...RAFA :happyhear WON
I thought it was going to be straight sets win at first, but with a biased umpire, lines men and rain clouds it turned out to be anything but :rotfl:. I was absolutely drained and shattered and I left the room for the last couple of games as I could only watch by peering around the door :rotfl: When he won I ran in and hugged the television :rotfl: ...Thanks ajax (I like your avatar and congratulations on your lady's win  ) and Lois for thinking of me yesterdayI've just about recovered :rotfl:However I think it only right that I wish to confirm that I didn't take any delight in seeing the ultra smug git Roger
Federer defeated
...
...Well done fitorbust :T what a fabulous achievement ...
...Well done to BB with the freecycle yogurt thingy, I've never made any myself. Is it easy and is it very tangy? I sometimes find yogurt a bit too off tasting to eat as it is so I tend to stick to fromage frais...
....Welcome Pandora I wish you success :j
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

lo folks
checking back in after the weekend off if you can call it that.
i have STS which is a nice effort since i havent exercised for the past week because of my flamming mouth!0 -
It's very quiet here today.
Pet - you made me laugh so much. I would have had to have watched the last 2 games from behind the settee too:rotfl: . Everytime I heard an update of the score i was thinking of you.
kpc - I think if you can combine what you have learnt through cal counting with sw you should do really well. I do enjoy your enjoyment of food though - to me it is such a part of your personality.
Victory - glad you have got so much done. Hope you got your money.
Just back from lidls with uht milk and dried milk to start easiyo:j . Picked up cannelli beans for 29p for 300ml for tongihts kpc white bean mash & steak:drool: and a jar of roasted peppers for 1.29 for tomorrow slow cooker delia special. Not been there before. I've jotted down a few prices to do comparisons. Managed to resist the very cheap cakes and biscuits.Just.
Is missyg away? She hasn't been around. Wendy is awol too. I've got a feeling the weight loss isn't going well and she's feeling miserable about that. If you're lurking wendy - do come and chat, there's no shame in struggling and we like your company.
Bright - idea - hope you have recovered from yesterday. I've won the ebay minimuffun tray thanks to you: half the price, incl postage I would have paid in town:T .I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
sounds like a result bbelle! I'm afraid i don't have ANY healthy muffin recipes to send you, but if you want me to pm you some of my favourite not-healthy ones i can. If you make them as mini's they seem to come in at between 5-7 syns and they're big enough. Although i dont exactly have a problem eating all of a full sized muffin, a mini one really is enough. I've resisted all the cakes and biscuits in lidl today too - been checking up on a new line of ours thats doing quite well. They go all gestapo when you turn up with a clipboard and want to write things down - i've been expecting to have a light shome in my eyes more than once. Once I give them the number so they can contact our HO contact they usually back off . . . her surname is Fuchs.
been a good day today - had another telephone call for a mystery ingredient - it would seem that i am the only uk stockist of Nielsen Massey Vanilla Bean Paste. I wonder if it's in some book or something thats new out - I'm getting a lot of interest in it.
Pet your superssmiley post made me LOL!!!!0 -
