The problem we've got is that where the tank is cited it doesn't meet regulations so we would have problems moving to another supplier.
I will try and bargain with Calor but I'm not holding out much hope.
Another thought: even if your tank is not compliant there is nothing to stop you asking other suppliers for a quote. Mostly they are given subject to survey. And there is nothing to stop you asking Calor to match the price,If what I said helped you, please "Thank" the relevant post. It cheers me up somewhat..1 -

Woggle said:Thanks. That's very helpful. We can't move supplier given our overground tank isn't in a suitable location - but we'll try that with Calor and see how we get on. I'll report back.

Moved to Midland LPG Nov last year from Calor. (Still getting automated demands/bailiffs for payment from Calor even though the account is cleared/closed. Apparently customer services can do nothing to stop them)2 Year Domestic
NW Leicestershire
4000li per year usage.Year 1 priced fixed at 43p per litre.Year 2 will be on our variable rate.43p per litre is 12p above the wholesale cost of LPG.Tank rental for an underground tank is £70All prices above are excluding vat at 5%
So far service is excellent. We had a few things going on Feb 25 and didn't keep an eye on gas. Ended up running out. They sorted us out in 48 hours.
Just put an refill order in. Confirmed the next day - 7 to 10 days for the re-fill.
So far I'm impressed.0 -
