I couldn't believe my eyes when a council gritting lorry chugged up the middle of our hill & sprayed grit onto the ice sheet! We are not on a main road, nor on a bus route so we'd assumed that we'd just have to wait till it all melted :T

I can't find any info online other than the National Bus Pass does not cover Wales and Scotland, but I also read that Wales lets all over 60s travel free. But is that only with a Wales Bus Pass or any bus pass? thanks
