Other half tried to get a rail warrant the other day but was told they arent 'allowed' them anymore, is this across the services or just in OHs unit? Posted overseas and unable to open building society acct
We are currently based in Gibraltar with the Royal Navy and have just been refused a savings account with West Bromwich Building Society as we are not UK residents...How can HM armed forces not be UK residents??? Any one else had problems with this?

Does anyone know if Travis Perkins offer Military Discount. I've been told by a colleague that when he showed his ID card they gave him stuff at Trade Price as long as you pay cash. I know they do a Cash Trade card for Trade but does anyone know if they extend this offer to Military.

Car insurance whilst on a 6 month tour
