Tesco Clubcard vouchers
When using Tesco Clubcard vouchers in store, what happens if the value of the voucher is greater than the cost of the shopping? Is the remaining value refunded to the clubcard account and issued as new vouchers? Does the clubcard value have to be lower than the cost of shopping? I have some £50 vouchers expiring this month…

New Customer offers
I've seen Sainsbury do £12 off £60 spend for new customers. Is this a good deal or have there been times throughout the year where it is better? I'm wondering whether or not to use this - or wait for a better offer?

Discrimination against older people by Sainsbury’s new nectar card offers
I agree that this new offer is unfair..I for one do not like using the smart shopping as it slows me up as I am worried about forgetting to scan one item and be questioned. I shall continue to shop on line and forgo the offers.

Tesco Clubcard vouchers - new rules
So I had a grocery delivery today and I used a £20 Clubcard voucher against the shopping. They spread this £20 over every single item I bought, rather than treating it like cash to pay part of the order. I’m now annoyed because I sent back 2 substitutions and the refund is for less than the items were. I contacted Tesco…

Sneaky change to Clubcard reward terms at Cineworld
Tesco Clubcard rewards and Cineworld have changed their terms which basically means they now keep whatever is left over on a Reward that’s not been spent on tickets whereas previously you could use the remaining credit on a future booking. I’m about £30 out of pocket because of this rule change. Phoned up both Tesco and…

Lidl Welcome Card - Free Item Every Week
I've just been to Lidl and was given a Welcome Card that entitles the holder to receive a free item when they spend over £20 in one transaction. This week's item was a 9 roll pack of floralys luxury toilet roll worth £2.60! It seems to be an alternative to the Lidl plus app although you can use ie in addition to the app as…

Today's conunundrum - Sainsbury's substitution promise
Hi, I hope someone can put me right as my brain is completely in a muddle! Online order. I ordered 6 bottles of wine at £6 a bottle, so £36. I was substituted with a higher priced wine, 5 x bottles of wine at £8 a bottle, and charged £40. I received a £4 voucher for my next online shop. They are supposed to make you feel…

Waitrose is stopping using newspaper subscription coupons with the spend £10 & get a free paper
For any newspaper subscribers like me who have benefitted from the My Waitrose free newspaper deal, i.e. spend £10, get your free paper, then use the coupon to recoup your subscription cost, I've been told by staff at 2 different branches that this is coming to an end this week ( they thought the 17th or 19th June). This…

Lidl Spin to Win
I don't like the Spin to Win promotion Lidl have going on at the moment. When the Lidl Plus card first launched I'd get quite a few money off coupons, such as 50p off next shop. Now they've got the spin the wheel feature instead, all I've had is 2 or 3 coupons offering an amount off the price of a particular item & none of…

I have some vouchers ending 28 February 2021 and don't want to lose them as I am saving for a holiday (one day!). I don't feel confident enough to book yet, has anyone heard if Tesco will extend the expiry date as they have done before due to lockdown? Thanks

Sainsburys Weekly Nectar Offers have gone down in value a lot recently
Since Sainsburys moved their offers to the Nectar App I have been getting some decent offers (stuff I actually buy) usually around 40-100 points per item. The last 3-4 weeks I have noticed a big reduction in the points offered. 14 of the 20 items are just 10 points (5p). Anyone else noticed this trend?

Can Tesco coupons be used for alcohol?
Hi everyone, I see Tesco have 25% off 6 bottles of wine until Monday, I wonder if I can use the coupon below to make an extra saving? The T&Cs seem to exclude alcohol but I'm sure I've used them in the past. Has anyone done this recently? Thanks!
