Tesco Clubcard rewards and Cineworld have changed their terms which basically means they now keep whatever is left over on a Reward that’s not been spent on tickets whereas previously you could use the remaining credit on a future booking.

I’m about £30 out of pocket because of this rule change. Phoned up both Tesco and Cineworld to complain with both blaming the other. Eventually Tesco said they’d credit me with 2000 points to compensate, but I still think this is completely wrong of them. There’s no technical reason for the change, it’s simply aimed at helping Cineworld recover some of its heavy losses at customers’ expense. If I paid for a single ticket with a £50 note would they also keep the change?
