Mean bloke looking for expensive champagne cheap
For Christmas I wanted to surprise some Parisian French friends with a gift of Champagne. But not the stuff they make in Champagne which is in France and in which they are drowning. No, I wanted to send them some of our superior English Champagne, for an education. Only I had a quick looked at the producer I knew, and the…

Soup rules!
Ta-da! Carrot and lentil soup, with a spicy twist! The batch has been blended and put back into the big pot. Can I simply leave it there for 2-3 days, scooping out portions and heating them separately? Or so I just bring the entire pot to the boil each lunchtime? Sorry I'm a soup noob! Presumably if it had a meat like…

Alternative Christmas Dinner
Hi there. I noticed the other day that a curry house near to where I live had a poster in the window saying that they're still taking bookings for Christmas day. I'm a guy. I've decided to go to a party as the lamppost from Narnia, my current plan is to wear all black (black jeans, black t-shirt) with a £4 lamp shade upside down on my head full of christmas lights, maybe some sprayed on snow and some card cuffs for my legs to look like the base of a lamppost.
