Great ‘shop assistants, help us crack price tag codes’ hunt
In preparation for the sales, shop staff often scribble codes on a garment’s tag to secretly indicate it’ll be discounted. See the Next price tag secrets blog for a previous example. Shop assistants (and shopping nerds), please help us decode what these numbers/letters/dots mean in different stores – we’d love examples. If…

Marks & Spencer Delivery Firm...?
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I want to order a shirt from Marks & Spencer for next day delivery, but I will be out tomorrow during the day. Does anybody know which delivery firm they use? If it's Royal Mail, then I can just walk down to the sorting office in the evening and pick the package up myself. If they…

Amazon Are Not As Good as they used to be
I ordered a microchip cat flap last week on 15th July from Amazon. On looking today I see that my order has still not yet been despatched. The delivery estimate was…

Do Waitrose have never knowingly undersold policy too?
I know if I buy something from John Lewis online and they subsequently reduce the price, you can go online and they will refund the difference if it was within a certain amount of time. Three weeks ago, I paid £12 for a cake tin in Waitrose store and was really annoyed to find that it was reduced to £6 today. I didn't have…

I bought a seasalt skirt at John Lewis yesterday which was on the sale rail but when I looked at the ticket it wasn't reduced. Jane Norman not making it easy..
I've seen a dress I like at Jane Norman, but I can only order it paying £3.95 delivery, or pick it up in a shop 10 miles from where I live (similar cost in transport..). Then if it doesn't fit (I've never worn Jane Norman before so I'm unsure of the size), I have to pay for return and they don't allow store returns!! So…
