when i decided to get contacts i went to specsavers and took up there free trial , at the end of it i decided against it as costs were a lot compared to online
i now use GetLenses who deliver from outside the UK ( netherlands )
never had a problem and all branded lenses

they are the same strength as my glasses perscription

You cannot use your spectacle prescription if that's what you're asking.
The lenses need to checked for fit.
Have you looked at specsapvers, I pay £20.

Be aware that you might need adjustments made.
With specsapvers I get free aftercare for 12 months and when they check new lenses they are prepared to alter the prescription a few times if necessary.

Be careful if you are new to lenses because if you go elsewhere and have issues the you'll have to pay for aftercare appointments.
I'd recommend going to specsapvers initially and ordering through them initially in case you have issues or need adjustments.
    You can always change afterwards.

I first had mine as a free seven day trial from specsavers, this included eye test, fitting of the lenses ans training to do it myself and seven days worth of lenses. After that it was £28 per month for daily disposables, cheaper than the internet for me. Now I've had laser surgery, much easier!
  • Before I had laser surgery Ii always went to Asda opticians as the Contact Lens checks (both initial and follow up) were free. Not sure if this has changed as this was a few years ago.
  • I recently needed a Contact Lens prescription as I tend to bulkbuy them every 4 months off the internet. I ended up going to Tesco Opticians and signing up to their scheme. The contact lenses test was free and includes free follow up appointments too, and I set up a monthly direct debit with them, whereby I will pay less per month than I would when I bulk buy online, so all in all I am pleased and would recommend them.
