Returning goods to Amazon under warranty

Can anyone tell me how to return faulty goods to Amazon under warranty because the instructions on their website are incorrect?

They tell you to look up the original order then press "return item" and enter the reason for returning as Faulty goods. But when I press "return item" all I get is a message that it's too late to return the goods as an unwanted item. There is no option to deal with faulty goods within the warranty period as they imply

I bought my defective UP Jawbone wristband in Feburary 2015 and I would expect it to last longer than 6 months.

Just go onto Amazon live chat and they will sort it out straight away for you.

Was it sold by a third party or actual Amazon?

I agree with Sarah1972, I've returned a few items out of the 30 days but within the annual warranty and even once returned radio which was just over that at 14 months to be refunded because it was faulty. I just contacted Amazon directly, either by phone, chat or email and they generated a returns label or ordered someone to collect it or sent me out a label (I don't have a printer for the label) and either got a replacement or a refund where the price had increased. Just contact them directly, they're normally quite fair with faulty items.
