Can you get Nectar points on giftcards?
Hi First post so sorry if in wrong place. I was wondering if you get nectar points when you buy giftcards in Sainsbury's. Since Tesco scrapped its scheme, I am looking for other ways to boost my points. On a related note: Do you get normal clubcard points on giftcards in Tesco (£1 = 1 point) or do you get nothing at all?

Is there any logic in refusing to allow 4.99 to pay on a card when they have a 5 min?
A shop today won't put the transaction through unless I bought something else and couldnt just add 1p to my total. I presume they do this because of transaction fees? Does 4.99 Vs 5.00 really make much difference?
