Amazon prime for £59 before Black Friday?

Hi all, I’m sure I’ve seen amazon offer their prime subscription for £59 in the run up to Black Friday in previous years. I know they did it earlier this year for amazon prime day, what are the chances of the offer appearing again do you think? I’m already on the months free trial which expires next week - I know, I clearly did not think this through!
I’m also interested in the kindle unlimited add on. Do they offer this at a reduced cost anytime?
Thank you!

Last year, the £59/year subscription offer ended at 23:59 on 18th of November 2016. I haven't seen any promo this year, so either they're not doing it again (keeping it only for Prime day in July), or it will happen later in the next few days.0

Hmmm, cutting it fine! Maybe i will give it until Wednesday before joining up at full price. Thank you for your reply! x0 -
I'm in a similar position. My OH got Amazon Prime last November when it was £59, we did not set it to renew so it's now expired, thinking we can then get the deal on my account this year... but it's not appeared!
Bit annoying as we're currently watching Mr Robot on Prime video
I can sign up for the free trial for a month, which will be useful for Christmas at least. Anyone know if I'll be eligible for the £59 offer if/when it appears if I'm in the middle of the free trial at the time it's offered?0 -

Same boat here - not sure if i can cope without my weekly Lucifer and Life in Pieces! (But also not sure they're worth £80 a year!)0
