Funding for dance training in England
I am a performing arts student from Scotland, who through recent competition, was awarded a place at Cambridge Performing Arts (Bodyworks.) Funding is offered to the college in the form of DADA's which are currently few and far between. I had my DADA audition a couple of weeks ago and wasn't lucky enough to gain one.…

Sun Deals - Craig Tara, Ayr.
We have booked a caravan through the Sun newspaper deal and are going soon with my two grandchildren. Now my daughter wants to come visit on Sunday and spend the day with us. (The Park says no 'day visitors' but I am thinking that maybe thats for people who come along for the day and do not rent a caravan). Will there be a…

Ceilidh band
My daughter would love to have a ceilidh for her 21st. She was at one recently and contacted the band to find out costs, and has been quoted £450 plus VAT for a 3 piece band. I hadn't expected it to be so high, as I'll obviously have to pay for the hire of a hall, and for food. Can anyone let me know if that is the average…

SPREE book, Edinburgh
Hi, Is anyone still selling SPREE books for Edinburgh? I want to buy sometihng from Nippers but it's quite expensive. They do offer 20% off Nippers so I think it'll be worth me buying a SPREE book but I would rather give the charity commission rather than buying it direct from the website.

Tenement flat - internal building works
I have a tenement flat in Edinburgh with 1.5 bedrooms. It's 0.5 because whilst the room is around 9'x9' there's a cupboard about 3.5' square projecting into the room which makes it difficult to fit even a single bed into it due to things like doors and windows. This cupboard has a solid wall which I suspect is load bearing…

Bus Fares
First Bus have put the fares up yet again - some by 28%!!!:mad: Not be long and i'll be cheaper getting a taxi to work! Seems the SNP are to blame for giving free bus journeys to the over 60's, whereas anywhere else in the UK it's over 65's. Another crazy policy punishing the many to help the few.
