Parking at the SSEC

Going to the Home show on Monday at the SSEC in Glasgow, would like to hear where all the MSE'ers would suggest parking?

I'm assuming you mean SECC?

If so, we park at the science centre & walk across the bridge.

I park at the other side - if you go though the covered walkway which crosses the motorway, there is very reasonable on street parkin in the street parallel to it

Science centre costs £4 all day, SECC costs £6 all day, on street is available if you get there early enough but what you'd save I don't know, £4 for a days parking is a decent deal to me.

They must be anticipating a busy holiday weekend, as there are road signs up today in the vicinity of both the SECC and the Science Centre, advising that alternative parking for the Ideal Home Show is available at Shields Road Subway, with a free shuttle bus operating to/from the SECC.
