Sun Deals - Craig Tara, Ayr.

We have booked a caravan through the Sun newspaper deal and are going soon with my two grandchildren. Now my daughter wants to come visit on Sunday and spend the day with us. (The Park says no 'day visitors' but I am thinking that maybe thats for people who come along for the day and do not rent a caravan).

Will there be a problem with this and is there any way we can buy her an entertainment pass?

Has anyone been on these deals and had visitors?

You should be fine with a visitor, how are they to know she isn't staying with you.

They only get tight on the passes after 6pm so as long as you are in the complex after then there is good chance you won't need one but we've done the old two people in, one comes out with both passes and then comes back in with the extra person...

We went at Easter and the only time we had to show our passes was at the pool. We went to all the evening entertainment for the kids, day clubs and the soft play, not once did we have to show it.
My mum and dad also came for a visit and babysat one night so we could go for a meal in Ayr. They could of stayed all night and no one would of known.
We really enjoyed our break, we spent a fortune but the kids loved it. We normally go to quieter parks.

If you've not been before, a wee tip is if you are arriving close to check in time, try and get in line straight away. They don't open the desks til bang on 3 or 4pm ( there's two check in times)
I was one of the first 10 in line as we were there early. I had no idea how it worked. They check in pretty quickly, but when I came out after getting the keys, the queue was miles long up the side of the building and round the corner! It was a warm day so I was glad I wasn't standing in it.
If you are arriving later on then that might be best to wait.
