CEL - Letter Before Action - No previous correspondence
Hello, I'm looking for some advice regarding a letter I've received from Civil Enforcement Ltd. It's a "Letter Before Action" for a PCN that I've had no previous correspondence with them about. The reason being that I moved address and only updated the V5C address with DVLA a couple of weeks after the alleged incident, so…

DCB LEGAL, SMART PARKING court claim
Thanks for this amazing forum BTW. I have received a DCBL Notice of Debt Recovery, "ignore it" is the overwhelming feeling I got from the Newbie sticky post. But, the PCN it refers to is from 2024 and they must have recently realised I moved and maybe my log book was out of date at time of stated convtravention. So, I…

ParkingEye for out of hours parking
Hey all. This is ridiculous, 20 years of driving with no parking tickets until suddenly getting one after the next now. I have already submitted the blue letter appeal to ParkingEye (unchanged) and emailed this complaint to the retailer: "I am writing to ask that you instruct your parking contractor, ParkingEye, to cancel…

Martin should take this up. Car park operator says £100 charge is reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. But if you appeal the validity or go to POPLA then the discount isn’t available. What a con!

Paid for parking but still fined!
I parked in East Heath Road car park. I paid for parking using the RingGo app. Unfortunately, we bought a new car a few months ago, and the app defaulted to the old car's reg no, not the new one. In my defence, I was in a hurry as I was taking a sample for analysis at the local hospital, as my granddaughter is taking…

Smart Parking
Parking fine issued to my wife. She thinks she paid and the fine seems to indicate ‘insufficient time’ rather than non payment (no evidence as paid cash). As there are only 3 hours or all day options I can only assume she was 7 mins over (? 10 mins grace period). Also, it was only received today and so is 22 days after…
