Why are airports not relevant land under POFA?
I have a bit of a theoretical question. Background: I'm having a fight with NCP over some Gatwick Drop-off PCNs. All have been appealed with the standard "No keeper liability, not naming the driver, go away" appeals. All but the latest one have been cancelled. They did some bad things like refusing a SAR or repeatedly…

Help - Named as driver but initial PCN not delivered within 14 days
Hi everyone, I hope you can help. I stopped off in the services for a quick nap but stayed 2 hours 43 minutes. Free parking was only for 2 hours. Date I slept, 20/12/25. Date of issue of PCN 02/01/26. Sent to my wife as she is the registered keeper. She's gone online and named me as the driver. (Thanks Mrs! Grrrrr).…

Can I ignore/appeal NCP parking charge?
Appreciate this has probably been asked hundreds of times but I received a parking charge letter today from NCP for “parking in an unauthorised area and liability for the same having been brought to the attention of the driver by clear signage in and around the car park”. The fine is £60 to be increased to £100. The car…

Multiple LBA's
Hey all. My sister-in-law has received an invoice from UKPC which has gone to the LBC stage, but she has received one on 11th December from Moorside and then a second from dcblegal on the 6th January. (both of which I've got her to respond with the newbies template) Is this normal behaviour? At what point does the…

MET Park ticket from 2023
Hi everyone, Background: Back in 2023, I went to pick up someone from Stansted airport, at night, and ended up getting a parking fine. However, to me this was odd, as I had done it before going at night to pick up other people and in another occasion I even stayed longer and never received any fine (lucky I guess?). As…

No parking or Waiting
Hi all, Apologies for starting a new thread on this, but I wasn't sure if there would be any difference when appealing due to the "no waiting" part of the PCN. We have received a PCN from Nationwide Parking Control, for stopping on Telcon Way Greenwich, which has double yellow lines. The "observation time" on the letter…

Any point appealing an "out of hours" stay for 17 minutes (ParkingEye)
I've used this forum in the past, it got me out of a couple of parking fines (Airport), however this time it is indeed sort of my fault and I wanted to make sure that I should just pay (can't even pay the minimum anymore, took a long time to get the fine so it's 3 weeks). Anyway, I had a flu jab and the medical centre's…

Letter Before Claim - Moorside Legal
Hi MSE, New here... I have received a LBC from MSL dated 14 August 25, it gives me 30 days to pay meaning my time is fast running out, leaving me about a week to resolve. I have been looking into how I can avoid paying this and there appear to be several different ways/oppinions. I am self employed, in the process of…

DCB Legal CCJ Judgement - Still within 30days
Hello, I'll be straight up and honest, I have ignored letters from MET parking services and DCB legal since the 27/11/24 regarding an overstay fine. It was at a starbucks that was empty and closed in the early hours of the morning. I ignored all the debt letters etc but I didn't realise that I should have responded to the…

PCN - number plate absent in daylight CCTV, but poor UV image - appeal accepted - not my car
The vehicle imaged was the same model as mine but an XL - different light cluster, silver not grey My appeal was accepted. Is such a discrepency in images likely? above - screenshot from the CCTV evidence below - UV rear number plate image - I've blurred the central area This just seems odd to me - a car in good flat…

MCOL defence ignored- Mediation Next
Hello, In relation to a PCN from November 24. I was a visitor to a site and despite filling in the visitor's book, I received a PCN. Appealed it and heard nothing more. Nearly 12 months later start getting letters and I did my best to follow the advice in the newbies thread. It went to Money Claim Online and I filled out a…

Claim Form received-DCBL UKPC Macclesfield Superbowl
Hi I recived a PCN in 2019 when parking at Macclesfield Superbowl. Does anyone know if the advice to respond to LBC still stand after changes to the legislation regarding add on fees. I went through the usual appeals which were of course rejected. I did admit to being the driver as a didn't know about this forum at the…

I don't understand the appeal process
Hi I attempted to trace the landowner but the local shop and the head office refused to tell me/didn't know. It's a parking eye car park. I am appealing and I read here that I should appeal as keeper, not driver. There is a tick-box saying: I confirm I have attached all supporting information available to me, and…

Payment mistake
With xmas approaching and subsequent excitement, £9.98 fuel wasn’t paid for correctly- genuine mistake. This letter has arrived with the keeper. The intention is to pay for the fuel however there’s a £35 admin fee that seems unfair. Does the admin fee need paying ?
