Buying house... 6 months and nothing
Has anyone experienced difficulties when buying a house with a shortfall? We've made an offer in June this year, were promised to move in by the end of August, not to mention that we've had everything sorted out from our side within 4 days of making an offer (mortgage etc...). In September we were informed about a mortgage…

Understand Enduring Power of Attorney
My father has just taken out an EPA and I am the nominated attorney. At the moment he is mentally perfectly capable at managing his own financial affairs. Russian Visa with Irish Passport
Hi I have taken out an Irish passport (in addition to my UK one) as I require a tourist visa for Russia. Home heating oil scams
Anyone know how easy it is to get scammed by delivery drivers in 'norn iron'? Is there licences required to setup an oil delivery company, what checks and balances are in place to prevent the consumer being ripped off? Heard a story tonight about someone getting less fuel than ordered, how easy is it to cheat the meters?

Black Friday - Northern Ireland
Hi All, Is anyone planning to attend these across Northern Ireland tomorrow? I personally am not a fan, it encourages people to buy things they may not necessarily need and I'm not convinced some of the prices on offer and indeed stock represents a good deal. Interested to hear differing views.

Mellon Cars
Hi, I have a Hyundai car that I bought from John Mulholland but I was thinking of getting it serviced by Mellons as I moved to Bangor. A colleague said they don't have a great reputation and I'd be better to go to Hursts, I thought Hursts were expensive? Could anyone recommend a local garage that could do a good job?

NI Corporation Tax 12.5%
Does anyone of a stable mind and disposition actually believe that reducing corporation tax will bring 30,000 jobs to this country, as certain politicians constantly repeat. Dublin did this 20 years ago, have many major US companies head-quartered there, with some ropey tax benefits, loads of well trained and experienced…

Our German Shepherd was 13 years old last October and I think her time may be near although I really hope not.
