I live in NI and have lost my terrestrial RTE signals. I've tried downloading the RTE Player on my iPad mini but it tells me I'm in the wrong region.
Any ideas how I can watch RTE live on my iPad Mini. I'd doable my intention would be to cast it to my television. In case it helps I use Getflix VPN service
Thanks for any advice offered

Could you give me a bit more info about how you pick it up on your tablet, I may be able to do the same on my iPad mini. Are you going direct to a web site, using RTE player, or the international player? For copyright purposes not all RTE programs are screened on the international player.

It just occured to me. The Good Friday Agreement 1998 was what allowed RTE to broadcast out of NI. For computer geeks can we ask our ISP's to lift the geo-block that they have on these services.
I'm with BT unlimited broadband but can't find an email address for them. I held on for over 40 minutes on live chat (what a laugh) until I finally gave up. BT customer service stinks.0 -

I have always received RTE via the overspill signal from the republic ,however I know people who receive RTE 1,RTE2 ,TV3,,TG4 ,UTV Ireland and more via an openbox using a sky dish."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

Hi guys, I was away for a while so apologies for not responding sooner.
A few points. Where I live I don't get the overspill and yes I know that RTE is broadcast out of Belfast but unfortunately the sub stations don't carry the signal. I do know about the international player and my friend in Surry uses it but it's the local player I'm interestd in getting
My previous ISP TalkTalk did lift the geoblock for me. However, my current ISP is BT and I I simply can't find an email address for their customer service. I tried phoning and gave up after 43 mins on hold! I don't want to use their online chat facility which, with the best will in the world, I don't fell could handle a topic like geoblocking
Any member use BT broadband and has an email address for their customer service0 -
