The £10 is usually the first payment in December.
The actual Winter Fuel Allowance for Pensioners? No idea.0 -
Te letters have been going out over the last couple or three weeks.
The money is due in banks over the next few weeks.
It depends on your NI number as to when you get paid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

hi can anyone help?
my sister lives in her own house and has up til now received the full payment of £200
she has just received a letter re the winter fuel payment stating she will only get £100 this year as the other £100 is being paid to her brother who lodges with her!
he claims ESA as he isnt too well and only pays her a minimum token rent payment.
she isnt very happy about this as she knows he wont give her anything extra to the winter fuel bills.
and she seems to be being penalised for being kind to him by giving him a roof over his head!!
any thoughts?0 -
