Debt was passed to agency days before DRO was approved
So I had my DRO approved around 7 weeks ago (I'm now in the moratorium period). However it seems that behind the scenes just days before the DRO was approved, one of my creditors had passed a debt to a collection agency. Can someone confirm if this debt is still counted within the DRO? Or do I have to pay it?

I received a phone call today from Virgin Money, who was one of my creditors included in the DRO, they said they hadn't received any word of the DRO and I must physically post a letter with the DRO document included within 30 days. There was no option to email I…

DRO Approved - Now I get a job offer!
I've recently had a DRO approved (as self-employed) and I'll be discharged in just under a year. This is quite the relief as the debt hanging over me was making me miserable. Another thing that has been making me miserable is that I graduated in 2019 and as yet haven't found a job related to my degree... until now. An old…

IVA Slow to Complete
I entered into a full and final IVA in November last year (2022). All money was paid and the IVA was accepted by my creditors. It was passed in the local court. DRO, renting & when to move
I am wondering if to either apply for a DRO now (I'm eligible) or wait until I have moved house in hopefully next Spring. I've been back living with my parents but I plan on trying to find a rented property. It will already be hard for me to get a rental because I only receive Universal Credit, so a terrible credit score…

Trying to pay off Iva early
Good morning. We have 18 months left on our iva and my parents have offered to ‘gift’ the money to close it. We were with vanguard but we have been transferred to ebenegate. Ebenegate have told us that they do not have our file from vanguard so nothing can be done until the new year, leaving us in limbo. Is this right?…
