in Nov 2018 I entered into an IVA, with a number of creditors including Santander.
I completed in Nov 2023 and most defaults were removed except from 2 creditors, one which was my Santander account and credit card.
I contacted the other creditor and they updated this immediately.
Despite sending the completion certificate to Santander it was not updated.
In June 2024 finally spoke to someone at Santander who agreed to update it.
The current account was and then removed from my credit file.
However the credit card is still showing as defaulted. I’ve raised disputes and complaints and the person at Santander is informing me I can still default after the IVA was put in place (it’s showing as feb 2019).
Everything I read says a debt can’t default after an IVA is put in place.
This is affecting me getting a mortgage but I’m getting nowhere and need it rectified urgently as I’ve put in a RTB and only have a small window to get this rectified.
Can anyone point me to where in legislation it says so I can provide this to Santander?
Please help, appreciate your time

It may be in the guidance from SCORONLINE.

It's only 4 months though so it may not be worth a lot of effort0
