Hi everyone, I'm in the process of considering a DRO but not 100% sure yet. It's more that I'm scared, feeling of guilt and stuff. For people who have been on a DRO or any type of similar system, how's it been? How was life at the start with all this worrying, how's life now after the six years with the fresh start? Any…

Trust Deed was transferred to another Trustee
Hello! So in 2023 I finally broke down and realised how much debt I had, and I entered into a Trust Deed with Interpath Advisory/Cleanslate as I think it’s called now. After a year we revised my payments as my wages had increased. In March of this year (2025) I received an email from Carrington Dean that my Trust Deed had…

IVA advice
I had a failed business and thanks to personal guarantees I now have nearly 800k of debt. Obviously bankruptcy sounds like the answer but I have 2 other limited companies that are doing ok and I don't want to give up being a director of these businesses. I also have a mortgaged property (Tennant in common) with my partner.…

Thankfully, good news was received at 11:30am today when the Insolvency Service approved my DRO, not something I'm particularly proud about but something I will learn from and already have. Should I get an IVA?
Hi, I’ve searched the forums but can’t quite find the answer I’m looking for. Sorry if this is a bit long winded . I’ve had a DMP with Payplan since 2014 and have so far paid off £14,000 and have about £9000 left to pay. DRO has been approved but AMEX want information?
Hello everyone, I had a DRO approved at the end of June and it seems like there is a trickle of companies being notified of it already. They have stated that I don't owe them any money and to give them a…
