Trust Deed was transferred to another Trustee
Hello! So in 2023 I finally broke down and realised how much debt I had, and I entered into a Trust Deed with Interpath Advisory/Cleanslate as I think it’s called now. After a year we revised my payments as my wages had increased. In March of this year (2025) I received an email from Carrington Dean that my Trust Deed had…

Thankfully, good news was received at 11:30am today when the Insolvency Service approved my DRO, not something I'm particularly proud about but something I will learn from and already have. Question I have is what happens now in regards to the 12 month DRO period, will the OR be sporadically checking in on me ?? Will I be…

I am now trying to get my interest only mortgage that's joint with my ex husband into my name only as a repayment mortgage. I have an excellent credit score (985) with no markers on my report, and have the affordability…

Hi, I’ve searched the forums but can’t quite find the answer I’m looking for. Sorry if this is a bit long winded . I’ve had a DMP with Payplan since 2014 and have so far paid off £14,000 and have about £9000 left to pay. I’m on PIP and UC and took early retirement from my job as a midwife so have a small NHS pension. I…

Getting a mortgage with a spouse in an iva
Is it possible for a person not in an IVA to apply for a mortgage with a spouse that is in an IVA? I understand that the bank obviously wouldn't use the spouse on a joint application but would they consider their income on the application?

This is not paypal credit or any part of my debt. I have £100 in my paypal balance Would they need to see anything like this paypal account?

DRO has been approved but AMEX want information?
Hello everyone, I had a DRO approved at the end of June and it seems like there is a trickle of companies being notified of it already. One was super good (acknowledged the DRO and have updated records to show it has defaulted already) but the response I got from American Express has unsettled me and got me worrying that…

DRO and Court Claims
I've got a question to ask about DRO's and Court Claims if someone could help me understand this please. My DRO went live on 13/2/2025, my set aside application was granted on 27/2/2025 and now the case has been stayed on 1/7/2025 Am I correct in thinking that the case is stayed until the DRO's Moratorium period expires?…

Voluntary charge vs IVA
We are reluctant to enter into an IVA, but we do have equity in our home that would easily cover our debts when the house sells (on the market at present). Does anyone have experience of a voluntary charge and what it entails?

IVA repayment
I finished paying off my IVA almost 15 years ago and today I received a letter from a company called Debt Movement who says that after they acquired the IVAs of Aperture Debt Solutions in September 2020 they've found that I'm owed money on my closed IVA. They have stated that I don't owe them any money and to give them a…

After successfully completing the IVA I honestly thought that was it. VWFS have finally caved and cleaned up my credit report. Irresponsible lending claim after DRO
I went through a DRO in 2020 and was discharged from this in 2021. I’ve recently had an irresponsible lending claim go through the ombudsman who had agreed the lending was irresponsible. I have used a no win no fee company. However I’m worried that any redress will go to the DRO/Aqua and not myself. In this instance I would…
