DRO missed a debt off

Hi, I had my DRO approved but a debt has been missed off. I have contacted the DRO unit to make them aware of this and, of course, I need to pay any debt that is not covered by the DRO. My question is, do I also have to contact The Official Receiver personally? If so, how do I find The Official Receiver for my DRO. Many thanks

Not sure why you would contact the official receiver. the debt has been missed and that's that. you need to deal with that at some point.
But - does the creditor know you are in a DRO? And do they realise they've been missed off? If the debt is particularly old and not been acknowledged in writing (for 5+ years) you might sneak through and it will be statute barred at the end and it will all be well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. The DRO Unit/team is part of the insolvency service.
This happens occasionally. Tell the creditor you have a DRO, and expect them to write it off2 -
Thank you, I'll wait for them to chase up. I've read a lot on various sites that states that if a debt is missed off, it's my responsibility to inform the Official Receiver. I'm assuming I'm okay then, having let the DRO unit know. It's been worrying me half mad, thinking that I'll have my DRO revoked over the missing debt if I haven't actually informed the Official Receiver0

As long as the missing debt does not take you over 50k, no problem2

Okay, thank you. It definitely doesn't.0
