The final figure I’ve been given is £17k which means the…

Most of the debt was acquired when I was still working. My son is 17 months old and I'm at home with him due to high childcare costs. My partner of 11 years agreed to carry on…

DRO Due to come off
Hi I have a debt relief order which finishes at the end if September. From what I understand it automatically comes off of the DRO register three months after the finish date. Third Party Payments
Hi, This may seem like a silly question but can anyone tell me the best way to make third party payments to my four credit cards. Parents have offered to do this to drop debt below £20k. Can they make online payments to my creditors or do they need to call them and do over the phone? Thank you

Gutted.
Hi everyone, I have an IVA in place, it ends 06/21. It was taken out when I first became a single mum (I have 4 children, 12, 11, 9, 7). My circumstances where pretty bad, the ex left me in a lot of debt in my name and the house had negative equity. This seemed the best way to sort it and up to now it has been a God send.…

Is my insolvency practitioner acting dodgy?
Hello all, Would appreciate some advice / feedback... Back in May I had to wind up my company asap when HMRC came knocking - various issues had caused problems and led to mounting debt (e.g. a former client running off with £14k that I never got back, chasing a massive payment from another for months...) Anyway, my…

Caution when using Knightsbridge and Creditfix
Hi, Just wanted to give warning to anyone considering using either of these companies to arrange their IVA. I paid off my IVA early in early June 2017. I was aware of the 6 months waiting time to give the creditors chance to reply and make a claim for the offer. Literally the day before the 6 months was up, 5th of Dec last…
