last question then I sign on the dotted line
Options
Hi
I am almost ready to sign on the dotted line just getting one more creditor entered on the list then its all systems go.
my question is I haven't got my new bank account set up and I get paid by cheque. I have had to put the cheque into my existing bank account this month. ( I do not owe the bank any money they are not on my IVA) however I have entered in to the IVA and all the pay day loan companies have put the account on hold until they are contracted by the IVA team....
My question is can they or will they still try to take money out my account as a debit card payment even though they have emailed to confirm the accounts are on hold? ( I have cancelled all direct debits and asked for no payments to be taken out unless I authorise them at the bank )
Any help would be appreciated.

Your IVA isn't active yet so you aren't protected by it yet. Set up your new bank account asap and transfer over the money, or withdraw it if you want peace of mind.0
