one4all gift card £5 left on it
Hi all, I was given a £50 one4all gift card for my birthday last year and nearly 12 months on, I still have £5 left on it and I can't seem to spend it. I know it's only a small amount, but I don't really want to waste it. I spend £45 on it with Pandora online and am left with the £5. I was hoping to use it on Amazon, but…

Hi Everyone, We’re looking to buy a fridge freezer, if you go to the curry’s website it tells you how much you can save over the lifetime of the appliance compared with others, obviously the ones that cost less to run are lore expensive in the first place, so if it doesn’t last as long as it should, your paying extra for…

Duvet split into quarters for washing
I had an idea that a duvet could be in 4 parts for a king size, 2 parts for a single, with big heavy duty zips When in the bed the zips would be hardly noticeable but the unzipped parts would be easy to wash at home in a standard domestic washing machine. A well designed duvet could have flap of duvet over the zip So I…

Is there one thing you buy too often and don't really need? How to stop?
A non-MoneySaving confession. There are certain things I buy too often which I don't need. Pretty notebooks are the main one - I have a shelf of unopened ones. I'm trying to tame the habit by avoiding stationery shops. I kept away from the Paperchase closing down sale, which was tough. Then, after discovering the 'pens'…

Cut a long story short ... Bought an item for £3200, seen it elsewhere for £2200 currys matched the price I ordered the item. Currys then decided they wanted to cancel the order because a £1000 discount was too much or something and they attempted to cancel the item. The item turned up this morning and has been delivered…

Recommendation for air fryers that are safe to use when you own a bird
I was thinking about getting an air fryer. Unfortunately I have just learnt that most are harmful to pet birds. Teflon/PFTE ones give off a gas toxic to birds. Can any bird owners recommend any (probably ceramic) ones that are ok? Have googled but not much luck as still shows ones with Teflon/PFTE
