Algae stain on wooden swing seat

Growing strawberry plants in pots with holes in
I wonder what the experience is - if any. We have some nice tubby pots on offer here and with my tiny garden it's a way of growing something up and leaving a bit more soil free. Also maybe, away from the chugiepegs and slugs. Of course there is the awful compost problem but first things first. Any thoughts would be welcome.
