Inappropriate Tesco Coupons
Hi, I wondered if anyone else receives Club card coupons from Tesco that are totally inappropriate? For the second time I have received £18 off a £120 shop and 2 x £12 off a £120 shop, but as 2 people living on our pensions we can’t make use of them! I have asked them to send us more appropriate coupons but have had no…

Flora "Skip the cow" advert??
Flora "Skip the cow" advert?? I always thought "Flora" (= "Plant Life" by definition) margarine was made from vegetable oil, but the new advert implies that was never true and only true of the new flora. Am I missing something or have flora been misrepresentating themselves for the last 60 years (launched 1964)

Sainsbury's all frozen fruit included in 3 for 2 deal
I noticed this offer when I was in the branch this morning and it's also available on their website here Frozen fruit | Sainsbury's (sainsburys.co.uk). I couldn't see how long it lasts for so snap it up while you can. PS I definitely recommend the Stamford Street Berry Mix 1Kg bag, it includes strawberries, blackberries,…

Waitrose - check your receipt after self-scanning
I recently checked my receipt to find an entry at the end which read V WR DURA BAG 4@ £1.00 which added an extra £4 to my shopping bill. On investigation I found that at the self-scan checkout I'd accidentally pressed '4' bags instead of '0' bags (the 4 bags is immediately below the 0 bags on the screen so quite easy to…

Is Sainsbury's/Argos & eBay the best value for spending Nectar points..?
Hi all, I've been saving up my nectar points, thinking they would be a nice treat at some point, but I'm now stumped to actually find any good deals for them. I always thought Sainsbury/Argos/eBay was the baseline and you would get much better value redeeming elsewhere, but it doesn't look like there';s anything else…

Ocado - Slot Prices
I understand that as you get nearer to a date, and the slots fill up the price goes up - but once you get to a few hours before the cutoff - do prices go down? I was looking at a slot tomorrow but it's £7 - not worth it - but if I waited until say 4pm this afternoon is there any likelihood it may go down - in my areas all…

Leaking Milk Cartons
Is anyone else having trouble with leaking milk cartons? Mostly from Sainsburys, but we also buy some from Booths (North West supermarket) and we've had problems with both. Basically, they leak. Just had to clear up quite a mess from the fridge from the latest one. I think the cartons are thinner, to save on plastic?…

Tea connoisseurs - Can you recommend a great brew?
Wife doesn't drink alcohol but loves good tea. I'd love to hear your great loose tea blend recommendations. We have previously enjoyed Fortnums blends etc. She also loves a good herbal tea such as Birchall peppermint/lemongrass+ginger. Could people please recommend excellent tea I could get her as a gift? I'm also in the…

Apple Grocery v Alexa List
Anybody here using Apple Grocery List, what do you think of it ? I’ve it been working with the Alexa app for some time now. If I’m about the house and see something I need to stock upon I simply say ‘Alexa add whatever to shopping list,’ and it’s done, I can do the same when I’m out and about. I generally type it in. Hack:…

Anyone else tried snip savings?
Hi, has anyone else tried Snip? I have recently joined, as it was advertised on Pick My Postcode. So far I have saved £9.51 and have spent £3 on the monthly subscription so some modest savings. Wondering if it's worth swapping to the yearly subscription as it works out as £6 less a year. Only thing I wish they offered…
