Tesco unethical and miss selling

I was shocked to see that Tesco was selling caged eggs. I thought that supermarkets had stopped selling them. To make matters worse, they had an Aldi price match sticker on their caged eggs. Aldi doesn't sell caged eggs; they only sell free-range eggs for ethical reasons. So not only was Tesco miss-selling because they weren't comparing like with like, but they were suggesting that Aldi is as unethical as they are. I am very annoyed.

I've seen loads of examples where the price matches between various stores isn't a proper match. So Tesco own cheap label is noted as cheaper than a name brand product selling at Aldi or similar. It's just a marketing ploy.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
