Does Iceland Bonus Card App work offline?

I tried to get the Iceland Bonus card at my local Iceland but they didn't have any and insisted I use the App. I have since downloaded the App but not sure if it will work offline?
I don't have any wifi plans on my mobile so when I'm out of the house I cannot use wifi. Does anyone know if I can use the Bonus card details in store without being online?
Any help appreciated.

You can get your card on the screen to use at the checkout. Put your phone in airplane mode and check.

Or just take a screenshot of the barcode/QR code and that will always work, of course.0

Appreciate the replies, I'll give it a go next time I pop into my local.0

Be very careful. I am trying to get a physical Bonus card. Today I went in to do my usual weekly shop and my app said it needed a password. I have no idea of the password as I've had the app over a year with no need to login after the initial setup. The unhelpful man on checkout said I couldn't have a discount. He said he didn't have any physical cards. I have made a formal complaint online and am waiting to be given a solution. I had rung customer services and was cut off mid-sentence. In the past I couldn't use the app if it wasn't connected to the internet so please do be careful. Very surprising that the app wanted a login just before Christmas with long queues of customers making the whole experience embarrassing. I wonder if anyone else has had this today as I am wondering if apps were re-set on purpose for this busy shopping day to stop handing out discounts...... We will never know.0

As I said weeks ago in this thread, take a screenshot of the barcode/QR code in the app (not sure which they use) to keep in your photo reel.2 -
Mine is also stored in my Google Wallet which doesn't need to be on line (but neither does the app) so should bypass any forgotten password issues. The app is set up for log in each time but also uses fingerprint ID, don't think I have ever had to do a full log in since setting up though.
