Question about college
My son has just started a special needs course at the local college. He is 19 and finished at his special school last term. So far he is enjoying college, which is three days a week. However, he is shattered all the time. It's a long day. He's collected just after 8am, and doesn't get home until almost 5pm. Transport is a…

Dreaded ESA assessment today!!!
Well today was the dreaded ESA assessment date for my daughter (2nd assessment in 6 weeks, as also had PIP recently). She has been in support group IB for few years, and suffers from MH issues. Managed to get her to the assessment centre despite her being in a state of extreme anxiety/panic, to be advised there was a…

Motability & choosing dealer
Hey everyone Just wondered in regards to the Motability Car Scheme. Say for example I chose the car I would like. However 2 dealers have the car priced differently from New. Am I able to go to any dealer who sells this car cheapest or is the price fixed for Motability regardless of where you get it from? Thanks

Volunteering - Colleagues Not Making Effort To Get To Know Me
I've started volunteering to try to help (as much as I can) as I just moved into a new area and literally know NOBODY.. they know this but I feel like I'm the one making all the effort.. like I've tried speaking to them, asking them questions about themselves.. yet it seems if I don't speak and make the first move - they…

Pip application advice.
From early childhood I have suffered with a number of chronic health problems & was on DLA from childhood until I was about 20 when I voluntarily stopped my claim (well I didn't renew it) as I had, in spite of my problems, started a job which I have loved for many years. However my health has deteriorated, quite…

Reporting Changes to PIP
Hi, I was diagnosed with ME in 2013 but they're now saying I was misdiagnosed and saying it's something else. Would I have to inform PIP of this even though the symptoms are similar? Also I'm on a few new medications.. but day to day it affects me the same. Do you they need to know about medication changes? Thanks.

Asking For Female Benefits Adviser At Job Centre - Reasonable Request?
Due to my autism I connect better with females as I find them genuinely more helpful and understanding. I'm just wondering if it's possible to request a female as my benefits adviser at the job centre? or would that be frowned upon? I've just grew up around females so feel safer around them.. Has anyone ever done this?

PIP help
Are you able to ask for evidence of things they claim ? What I have said? What they have seen? What the NHS say? They keep saying "informally" which I assume they will turn round and say we don't have hard evidence ? Also, can you put in a formal complaint ? If so how ?

Carers allowance & Sanctions
Hi guys, not sure if anybody can help... I've been sanctioned on UC for a long time now, as I haven't attended appointments; the reason for this is because I've been a carer for the past year (full time) and been unable to work due to this, and despite the fact I've been a carer, I haven't been able to claim carers…

Motability Car Scheme
Just wondered, can you only get a brand new car on the Motability Scheme, or is it possible for "nearly new cars" such as ex demos from the dealer? Also I heard about a £2000 advance payment limit, is this correct? Thanks

PIP 4 form
Has anyone received a pip4 form and thought "what even is this?". Mine is complete nonsense, short statements that contradict each other and are completely irrelevant to the claim anyway. An example: And also: I'm a rural girl, I was driving tractors at 10! Of course I can drive I'm just not allowed to, they have a letter…
